Today I want to share several stories with you that unfortunately reflect once again where many of us in the body of Christ are failing to live up to what's in His Word and in which we are taking this country and this world back to the days of Lot. Christ said that when He returns it will be as it was in the days of Noah and in the days of Lot. I believe we're certainly at that point as church after church, Christian after Christian unfortunately falls aside to political correctness and worldly acceptance, the only thing that those of us who refuse to do so is to stand fast and do our best to hold on to our crowns. Today I'll be talking about what the Methodist church is looking to do now, what the Church of England is looking to do, what the Boy Scouts are looking to do, and I have to talk about the Josh Duggar situation as well. Whatever time allows for, that's what will be shared on today's show at 4:30 Eastern time and archived afterward.
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Dating in this Digital Age can sometimes feel so cumbersome. It’s just down right inconvenient. We don’t have time to mingle and even when we are mingling we are more obsessed with what is happening on the web than having a real interaction with people in our physical space.
The world we live in today is all about convenience. If I can’t get it when I want/need and customize it how I want it, most of us are just not interested. This ideology is truer for those of us that live in big cities and work 9-7 jobs . You spend most of your time at work and pursing our careers. When do you have time to grab a drink and ask someone how was their day? or better yet, even care? Frankly we have enough going on in our lives already.
This is why there it is no surprise that online dating has become one of the most popular and secretive past times for single young adults. There are thousands of sites all over the place both free and paid for all lifestyles and preferences. It seems like now online dating/hookups has become the new way of life.
Don’t get it misconstrued. Online dating is not a new phenom. I remember the days of dial up on AOL when that random person would hit you up with “A/S/L?”. Today it is not uncommon to hear someone say that they met or even married someone that they met online whether it be from a dating site or social media platform like Facebook or Instagram; hence the term “sliding in the someone’s DM’s”.

WE AMERICANS ARE A VERY MATERIALIST LOT AND AT NO TIME OF YEAR DO WE DISPLAY THIS TRAIT MORE THAN AT CHRISTMASTIME. BUT SHOULDN'T WE PUT MORE OF AN EFFORT INTO USING OUR CHRISTIAN BELIEFS FOR THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS? SERIOUSLY, ISN'T IT TIME FOR US TO SHOW IN OURSELVES THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS IN ALL THAT WE DO THIS YEAR? IT'S WHAT THE LORD REALLY WANTS FROM US AND IT HAS MANY ADDITIONAL BENEFITS. IT PUTS US IN CLOSER TOUCH WITH HIM, BRIGHTENS AND STRENGTHENS OUR FAITH AND OUR HOPES AND SERVES TO USE US AS MISSIONARIES TO THE UNFOUND FLOCK IN ALL THAT WE DO. WHAT'S MORE, IF WE DEVOTE OUR ENERGIES TO THE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING OF HIS LOVE, WE WILL PUT MATERIALISM IN THE BACKGROUND AND FOCUS ON THE REAL CHRIST, THE ONE WHO GAVE US THE ULTIMATE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE IF WE ONLY DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT. REMEMBER, CHRISTMAS PRESENTS COME AND GO BUT ETERNITY WITH JESUS CHRIST LASTS FOREVER.
