This Thursday on Fieldstone Common we will speak well known New England Genealogist David Allen Lambert. During this interview we will discuss some of David's favorite research topics such as New England cemeteries, Native Americans and African Americans. We'll probably even talk a bit about baseball too!
David has been a staff member at the New England Historic Genealogical Society since 1993, having been a member previously. His interest in genealogy started at the young age of seven, and has increased over the past four decades. He has published several articles in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register; the New Hampshire Genealogical Record, Rhode Island Roots, The Mayflower Descendant, and New England Ancestors magazine.
His genealogical expertise includes New England and Atlantic Canadian records of the 17th through 21st century; military records; and Native American and African American genealogical research in New England. He has published A Guide to Massachusetts Cemeteries (NEHGS, 2009), and ), and various volumes of his hometown of Stoughton, Massachusetts. He recently collaborated with historian Maureen Taylor on a volume of photographic images of the Revolutionary war period – The Last Muster (Kent State University, 2010).
David has been a Civil War re-enactor for the 12th Massachusetts Infantry. He is a Life Member of the New Hampshire Society of the Cincinnati. He is currently the tribal genealogist for the Massachuset-Punkapoag Indians of Massachusetts. Yes, you read that right. Tonight's guest is an official "Jollyologist", a man who has dedicated his life to happiness: finding it, nurturing it, and living it. I'm talking about prolific author Allen Klein, who has just published a book entitled Having the Time of Your Life: Little Lessons to Live By. Allen has collected 500 inspiring and uplifting quotations on the subject of life, from Oprah Winfrey to Lena Horne to Abraham Lincoln. I'll be talking to him about happiness--how can we be happier every day of the year? How can one simple quotation change someone's life? And what makes Allen so darn jolly? This promises to be a fun interview!

You can donate to us to help us with the cause of the Messiah which is spreading the good news about the power of God to the ends of the earth.
#1) We believe that God is Elohim that His actual name is YAHUWAH and that the name of His son is YAHUSHUAH.
#2) We believe all translations of the bible have errors and you need the Holy Spirit to show you the truth, especially those parts of the bible that trouble you.
#3) We believe that upon hearing and believing the truth it will instantly manifest more freedom in your life, freedom in your emotions, resulting in joy and thankfulness to God.
#4) We believe the truth is all powerful, we believe truth is a person, namely YAHUSHUAH, which means YAH IS SALVATION!
#5) We believe the kingdom of God is not merely talk but in demonstrations of power, healing the sick, opening blind eyes, rasing the dead, casting out devils, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned.
#5) We believe that to be a true follower of truth is not a spectator sport or religion but a real life partnersihp with the Almighty King Elohim YAHUWAH!
#6) We believe most believers are in bondage due to lies they picked up by their involvement of religion and lack of personal closeness with Elohim, His Holy Spirit, and His word of truth.
#7) We believe time is short and the King of kings is coming back very soon to right every wrong and set up His heavenly kingdom visibily on earth very soon! Every eye will see, every ear will hear, every knee will bow!

Join Ronald A. Edwards and Don Allen for another episode of The Ron and Don Show. This week both hosts will talk about the killing in Minneapolis as well as what's happening in Ferguson, MO. Tune in at 8:30 p.m. to hear the best in Black Talk Radio on #BlogTalkRadio.
It is unlikely the town of Ferguson, Missouri will change in our lifetimes. The mainstream media has portrayed Ferguson, Missouri as a town of rioter’s and looter dismissing the fact the town of 21,203 (2010 census) is in a crisis. In a report from ArchCity Defenders — a legal group that “works to break the cycle of ‘revolving door justice’ in the St. Louis metropolitan area” — reveals that in 2013, “the Ferguson Municipal Court disposed 24,532 warrants and 12,018 cases, or about 3 warrants and 1.5 cases per household.” In Ferguson, the “majority (67%) of [the city's 21,203] residents are African-American” and “22% of residents live below the poverty level.” Despite Ferguson’s relative poverty, fines and court fees comprise the second largest source of revenue for the city, a total of $2,635,400 [...] According to a court employee, the docket for an average court session may include as many as 1,500 cases. Assuming an 80% conviction rate, the average fine in a case resulting in a guilty verdict would be $275.The local carnage happening over the last month and a half is a direct representation of what being poor, black and broke looks like in a town with no opportunities to rise beyond the mundane.
