    After the resurrection

    in Spirituality

There was a great change in the relations between humanity and God after the resurrection. As post-resurrection believers, we need to be aware of those chages as we live out our lives. This is the first in a series of teaching I am doing on "After the Resurrection.

    Doing the works of God

    in Spirituality

Jesus isn’t limited to our limitations. Instead, he steps into out limitations and turns them into possibilities. The result is that, we enter into partnership with the Holy Spirit and continue the work of God in the earth.

    Christ the Healer

    in Spirituality

As Christians, we are quick to tell people that Jesus saves and this is a true statement. We tend to speak of salvation only in terms of “getting the soul saved.” The Gospel presents salvation as a process that impacts the whole person spirit, soul and body. One of the most neglected aspects of salvation is the issue of healing. Healing touches upon every area of lives (physical, emotional, relational etc…) and the good news (GOSPEL) is that Christ is ready and willing to release healing into our lives.

    Keeping the Unity

    in Spirituality

In Ephesians, the principle of Christ’s headship is carried to its largest results. The centre of the Church becomes the centre of the universe. God’s plan of the ages is disclosed, ranging through eternity and embracing every form of being, and "gathering into one all things in the Christ."
(Ephesians 4:1-7)  As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

We read so many wonderful things in the scriptures which speak to what God has done in Christ and what they means to us as believers. The tragedy is, so few people ever discover the truth of who Christ is in them. Listen in as we explore this reality.

    Jacon and The Blessing

    in Spirituality

The Blessing is very real. It was originally given to Adam and it is this that Adam lost. We see through the scripture narrative, that God has worked in every generation through The Blessing to ultimately restore it to humanking. Listen in as being to explore the reality of The Blessing. (This is a low quality recording but an insightful).

    The Blessing

    in Spirituality

The birthright is emphasized in the Bible because it honored the rights or privileges of the family’s firstborn son. After the father died, or in the father’s absence, the firstborn son assumed the father’s authority and responsibilities. In addition to assuming the leadership role in the family, the recipient of the birthright inherited twice that received by the other sons. The birthright of a king’s firstborn son included his succession to the throne. As New Testament Christians, we have an inherited “birthright” status through Jesus Christ as the firstborn Son of God. As God’s only begotten Son, Jesus received the kingdom from His Father and is Lord of all. Christ promises to share with us His kingdom and inheritance but, we are warned not to imitate Esau who, on impulse, gave away his birthright for a bowl of stew. Because of his foolishness, Esau lost his birthright and the blessings of his father.

    The treasure within You

    in Spirituality

The scriptures inform us that the gospel was first preached to Abraham (Galatian 3:6-8). Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, the gospel unfolds until finally within the ministry of Jesus, the purpose of God is clearly proclaimed. In this message we begin to unpack the glory of the mystery God has been unfolding down through the ages. “Christ in You”, the hope of glory.

    God believes in YOU !!!

    in Spirituality

It has been the tendency of many (including myself) to approach the Gospel from the point of view of humanity’s need to believe in God. A careful reading of scripture however, presents a different picture. In the scriptures is reveal the mind blowing revelation that God believes in humanity. Pause and think on that, then personalize it. Yes, God believes in YOU. Listen to this conversation and forever see God, yourself and others with a clearer view. Yes, GOD believes in YOU!!!
