Helen Dao (MHA, Master in Healthcare Administration of New Jersey City University) is the President and CEO of Dao Management Consulting Services, Inc. The company specializes in providing services to local, state, and national organizations in finding and implementing best practices and strategy approaches to address cultural differences and minority’s health disparities. Her expertise and focus is working with the Latino, Asian Chinese, and Caribbean-non-Hispanic communities.
Helen has lead different State and National quality improvement projects such as Project Access which focused on children with special health care needs, New Jersey PBTS Vision Task Force focusing on pre-school awareness and expansion of early screening in underserved communities, and the development and implementation of a national curriculum for care coordinators in Community Health Centers. Helen has been a guest speaker for national organizations such as the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality (NICHQ), National Association of Public Health Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the National Epilepsy Foundation America. She has several published articles on cultural competency and patient-centered medical home model. Helen has conducted several seminars on cultural and linguistic competence at many different organizations such as UMDNJ School of Public Health, New York Institute of Technology Medical School, the Interagency Council of New York, and others.

The BroadbandUSA initiative, a program of the Dept. of Commerce's National Telecommunications and information Administration (NTIA) will:
provide expertise, tools and information to benefit communities that are developing or improving broadband services and broadband adoption;
offer online and in-person technical assistance to help communities mprove broadband access and bring more Americans online;
host a series of regional workshops around the country to instruct decision-makers on best practices and lessons learned from local communities;
distribute guides and tools that provide communities with proven solutions to problems in planning, financing, construction and operations; and
through collaboration with other federal agencies and broadband stakeholder groups, promote interagency coordination to ensure that information and resources get to communities quickly and effectively.
Laura Breeden, Director of External Affairs for BroadbandUSA, and Lynn Chadwick, Federal Program Officer with the NTIA State Broadband Initiative, offer tips and guidelines for maximizing this newest program. Neil Ripski has been training in the Chinese Martial Arts since the mid 1980's. Starting with a Chin Woo Master for the first 8 years of training before meeting Master Ma of the Ma Family, the style he now teaches (Ma Jia Quan - a northern Family Shaolin Based Style).This is the training where he learned his Northern Drunken Fist that he has become known for and written books on.
Since the mid 1990's he has also been training in the Internal martial arts of Taiji, Baguazhang and Xingyi/Xinyi and is a formal Disciple of Master Chen Qi Ming of 18 Lohan Palm. His meditation training was as a formal Disciple under Phra Tep Jetiyajarn Luong Phor Viriyang Sirintharo, Abbot of Wat Dhammongkol Monastary in Thailand as well.
He has published three books on Martial Arts and runs a full time live in training program three months each summer from his school in Creston BC. He is an Owner of Deep Water Martial Arts Magazine and a founding member of Deep Water Martial Arts Convention and the Kootenay Chin Woo Martial Arts Association. Neil now travels internationally to teach and share martial arts with other like minded people.
