Singer/songwriter Nicholas Wells found his passion at a young age. As a product of writing music for over fifteen years, Nicholas holds a collection of many inspiring original songs about life and love. An identifying characteristic of his piano based music is his memorable melodies, which evoke as much emotion as his lyrics. In 2005, at age seventeen, Nicholas released his first official self-produced album entitled "This Life".
With an interest in production as well as songwriting, he attended the Studio Production program at the conservatory of music at Purchase College. Since then, Nicholas has released an EP entitled "Somewhere Down The Road", and a full length album entitled "Something To Believe In". His songs "A Little Bit" and "Hope In Love" were featured in "Morgan" (2012), an independent movie by Michael Akers.
He is currently planning for the 2015 release of his new album entitled “Stumbling Forward”. Nicholas has written other notable songs, including "Eat Me", performed by Dante Palminteri in the movie "Sharknado 2", and "This Christmas It's You And Me", performed by Nicholas Wells and Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's "Morning Joe"

In this emotional episode of Write Pack Radio, the Write Pack explores “failure” in the writing career:
Society doesn’t always understand the growth in art, that what is perceived as failure is a stumble and growth.
How do we, artist, measure our successes and our “failures.”
Our “failures” are the teaching steps to improving our art.
The effort of trying comes with failure, but every great success comes from learning from failure.
All artist are entrepreneurs. Being an entrepreneur means walking on a road that has potholes, but we don’t stop. When we stop is when we fail.
Society tends believe in the romance of the writing world and not at the loneliness of the literary life.
How do we keep going? What keeps the artist/writer moving on to the next project?
