Wisdom, Giving, and John 6:11 (Everyday Thanks #21)

    in Self Help

Today, I am thankful for wisdom.

Our quote of thanks is from an Unknown Author. He said, "God is a great giver, let us be great in giving thanks."

Our Bible verse of thanks is John 6:11. It reads, "And Jesus took the loaves; and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would."

Back on Stage as A Rockstar After Alvin Ailey Career Ending Injury - Danni Gee

    in Entrepreneur

Danni Gee began dancing professionally with Philadanco at 15. She toured with Alvin Ailey as principal & soloist for 7 years. Then a career ending injury changed everything. Listen now as we discuss: recovery, pain, overeating, acting out, and returning to the stage as a singer and monster rock star.

Danni Gee shares honest insight about “mourning the loss of a dance career", getting professional help, and the power of saying, “At least I did it.”

@DaniiGeeNYC is the Curator of Dance for SummerStage dance festival in New York.

This multi-talented artist, is in constant demand providing guest vocals for several acts including Def Jam, Gloria Gaynor, CHER & others.

After cutting her teeth with these various artists, Danni decided to step out on her own. She needed to bring life to her own eclectic vision and in the summer of 1999 Suga Bush was born.

"My songs tend to be a little, um, personal...sometimes raw. Single -  'Monster' came about in the aftermath of a pretty rough break-up. Writing these songs is my therapy...and performing them helps me release my demons and maybe some folks in our audience too!"

Sound the Alarm #Awaken EP 14

    in Spirituality

It is time for us to get out of our sleep and slumber mode and awaken to the call of the Almighty! How many days do we sit in the midst of our situations without grasping the true concepts of the purpose of going through? It is to purify us and prune us to make us a better people. Nonetheless we are called higher to a place of awareness and we must stay awakened by the sound of the GLORY of GOD in our lives. What does that look like?

Well we must stay focused and read the word of GOD daily to feed our souls and study to show ourselves approved. Most of all we must be in position to help others see the light. To give the unadulterated gospel that will shed light on this dark wolrd and feed lost souls so that they too may gain a relationship with Most High. It's all about relationship and not religion.

How long will believers PLAY church and not serve those who are in need? The church has become broadway while those who are unsaved and unchurched bust hell wide open.  It is our responsibility to sound the alarm for the day of the Lord is near... No longer can we lay in a digressed state of being.

    Joel 2:1

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand--

Reader's Entertainment Radio Presents: Heather Graham

    in Books

Reader's Entertainment Radio welcomes NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Heather Graham to the show on Thursday, March 26th at 6pm EST!  With over one hundred and fifty books and novellas to her credit, her latest novel, The Dead Play On, continues the tradition of excellence for which Heather Graham is well known!

    Book Blurb:

    Play a song for me…

Musicians are being murdered in New Orleans. But Arnie Watson apparently died by his own hand. When Tyler Anderson plays the saxophone he inherited from Arnie, a soldier and musician who died soon after his return, he believes he sees visions of his friend's life—and death. He becomes convinced Arnie was murdered and that the instrument had something to do with whatever happened, and with whatever's happening all over the city…

Tyler knows his theory sounds crazy to the police, so he approaches Danni Cafferty, hoping she and Michael Quinn will find out what the cops couldn't. Or wouldn't. After all, Cafferty and Quinn have become famous for solving unusual crimes.

They're partners in their personal lives, too. Quinn's a private investigator and Danni works with him. When they look into the case, they discover a secret lover of Arnie's and a history of jealousies and old hatreds that leads them back to the band Arnie once played with—and Tyler plays with now.

They discover that sometimes, for some people, the line between passion and obsession is hard to draw. Only in uncovering the truth can they hope to save others—and themselves—from the deadly hands of a killer.

Phoenix Rising And Ms.P Chat With Danni Cassette

    in Music

Danni Cassette is a singer, songwriter and vocal arranger whose commitment to the craft has framed her career decisions, musical compositions, and even her name. Born March 25th 1988 in Sacramento, California, eldest of Alicia and William, arrived in the physical realm singing, not crying. Although family and friends can recall Danni’s musicality from an even earlier age; the defining moment for Danni was when, at the age of three, her grandmother gave her a Fisher Price tape recorder with a mic. Danni could be heard entertaining loudly at any given moment and replaying the best of her taped creations over and over. This gift became central to Danni’s analog beginnings. Tune in to hear more!
