SDG 220 End Time Issue: Creation vs Evolution

    in Spirituality

    1 Timothy 6:20

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

You know we all need the mind of Christ, and that's what we’re going to seek as we turn to God’s Word and deal with the enemy's lie of evolution.
Sadly many today believe that evolution ought to be taught in our public schools as a science fact and not  merely as the unproven and very poorly founded theory that it actually is.
So evolutionists simply claim we go from step to step with nothing but lots of time and plenty of chance! And honestly that's just a pillow for a lazy thinker to lay their head upon.

So tune in to hear three compelling reasons why many intelligent and well-trained people reject evolution.

How to Run a Successful Social Media Campaign Without Spending a Cent

    in Business

    Step 1. Plan Your Campaign

This is probably the most involved step. However, if you do this right, it will definitely pay off.

Have a clear purpose and strategy

What do you want out of this campaign? Do you want more likes or followers? Do you want people to opt into your list?

How will this campaign affect your business? How may this campaign affect your business both positively and negatively?

How will this campaign affect your potential and current customers? You are building a relationship with potential customers and maintaining and improving your relationship with your current customers.

How will you engage or interest your potential and current customers? Are you offering something of value?

    Types of posts

There are a wide variety of posts you can use across different social media platforms. Here are some that Sarah recommends, specifically for Facebook and Twitter. Some of these can translate over to other platforms as well.

Do You Have What It Takes to Go Viral?

The most commonly shared social media are either posts that offer practical and useful information and posts or tweets that arouse emotion (positive and negative).

C.D. - CPD & the Black Community - The "Islamophobic" Comments by Bill Maher

    in Islam

Please join us on Critical Discourse, Saturday, November 28, 2015, where we will review the following:

    1) The shooting last year, indictment this year, in wake of the shooting death of a black man in Chicago

    a. was it wise to reveal the video to the public, NOW?

    b. why [again] do black lives ONLY seem to matter, when police or white citizens kill black people?

    c. Is the charge of 1st-degree murder, a "way out" for the prosecution?

    2) Bill Maher's comments about Muslims, Al-Islam and our relationship to religion in general

    a. Have any, among the Muslim leadership, referred to his comments as "hateful" or "Islamophobic"?

    b. If not, could the fact that Maher is liberal, supporter of Obama (reportedly, donated $1,000,000 to his 2012 presidential re-re-election campaign), have anything to do with this?

    c. To that end, what would have the reaction been, had such comments been made by Ben Carson, Donald Trump or Rush Limbaugh

    d. Why has Bill Maher become a "hero" of sorts, to the conservative media block?

    3) Election 2016

     a. Why have Ben Carson's 1st and 2nd place leads, diminished?

     b. Is there a possible "Million-Man-March" factor?

    c. Does he have "the complextion to make the connection" with the black community (i.e., is he too dark-skinned)?
