Over 10,000 theatergoers in six continents have seen the show. This talented actress also played Dorothy Dandridge in another one-woman show titled Yesterday Came Too Soon at the National Black Theatre in Harlem.
Leslie’s role in With Child is her first appearance as a lead in a feature film. This unique movie tells the touching story of a widowed construction worker trying to rebuild his life as a single dad while struggling with the romantic advances of his eccentric new employer (played by Leslie). "When I read the script, I thought it would be a good fit for my first film as lead producer," Leslie explains. "I love the message of the film: What we choose now affects our past.”

While in LA she met up with her now ex-husband Terry Lewis of which she had met previously in Texas at a Prince concert. In 1984 they moved to Minneapolis Mn and got married. Her daughter Chloe was born that same year. Being married to Terry Lewis gave Gwen great opportunities to sing background vocals for Alexander O'Neal,Janet Jackson and many other secular artist. Gwen even sang background on the theme song of the hit comedy show "In living color". She divorced in 1991,her life began on a downward spiral out of control. Gwen began looking to the world to fill the emptiness she felt inside. This resulted in a string of mental and physical abuse relationships. In 2003 she began seeking and exploring religions. On Easter Sunday 2003 Gwen attended services at Bread of Life church in Minneapolis Mn and gave her life over to the Lord and from there started her new journey of getting to know God personally. Best decision she ever made. In 2004 Gwen had her second child Jazmine. In 2008 Gwen started to write songs about the love she found in Christ. In 2010 God placed it in her heart to do her first gospel album. Gwen's desire with this album is to bless the lost, abandoned, and seemingly hopeless with Gods love through her music. Even though this has been a tough journey with putting together this album Gwen has never lost faith that Gods purpose and plan for her life will be fulfilled.

It was the city of dreams however with dreams there are nightmares. We had the largest race riot in the history of the United States. 1921:The summer where blood ran in the streets In 1921 there in the streets of Tulsa's renown Greenwood District otherwise known nationally as Black Wall Street, lay African American men drawing their last breath . It is now 2015 in Tulsa and in that same renown former Black Wall street area known as the Greenwood District, I must report , I must educate the public that STILL yet African American men lay dead in the streets . They are told by Tulsa's finest , a Tulsa Deputy commanded to serve and protect its citizens this: "F#&^k your breath ". Eric Harris heard this as one of the last statements spoken to him . He had been shot in his back while laying on his stomach in the Greenwood streets of Tulsa by reserve deputy Robert Bates aged 73. It is 2015 not 1921. This is not a made for TV production. This is everyday reality for minorites residing in Tulsa County in the great state of Oklahoma. We The People Of Oklahoma is a grass roots group dedicated and organzied to protect the citizens of Oklahoma including Tulsa. Why should this matter to you ? Nico Rosberg won the Grand Prix in Monaco with the help of a strategic blunder.
Starting on pole was pivotal for Lewis Hamilton, who was almost certain to win the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco. Hamilton maintained the lead throughout the race and had a 19 second lead over teammate Nico Rosberg. No one could have overtaken him on that particular track, and no one could have taken the race from him until, lap 65, when the youngest driver in Formula 1 Max Verstappen ran head on into the barriers while trying to overtake, Romain Grojean.
A virtual safety car (VSC) was in effect which would have maintained the status quo for the position of drivers, but suddenly, an actual safety car was deployed, and the Mercedes strategist called Hamilton in to pit for a tire change. The move was shocking to fans and the media since Hamilton’s tires were holding up just fine, and he had only 14 laps to go. Mercedes called Hamilton in while Vettel who was in third, and Rosberg in second, stayed out and advanced their positions. By the time Hamilton rejoined the group, he was in third, Vettel was ahead of him in second and Rosberg ahead of Vettel in first. Although Hamilton is still leading the drivers, championship, this was a painful loss. Every other word heard around the F1 universe has been “robbed, Hamilton was robbed.” Fans believe Hamilton is rightfully upset that such a blunder by his strategist could cost him so much. He has consistently praised and thanked his team, even when they mess up his pit stops but by all accounts, this was a bridge too far. Now, fans are asking, “Can Lewis trust the people he depends on?” Coming in fourth and fifth were the Red Bulls, Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen held onto sixth and an impressive drive by Force India’s Sergio Perez, and McLaren driver Jenson Button, put them in seventh and eighth, respectively.
