Tune-in for our post-convention segments featuring celebrity survivors. Our 1st in the line-up of special guests is Kathy LaTour. She is the editor-at-large and co-founder of CURE Magazine: an award-winning complimentary magazine with the most extensive direct to patient circulation in the nation.
Kathy LaTour has a flair for writing. She is also a 27-year cancer survivor. First diagnosed with breast cancer in 1986, Kathy became an active member of the national cancer survivor community. After interviewing hundreds of health care professionals, she wrote The Breast Cancer Companion. Her book was so successful and informative that excerpts were printed in numerous publications, such as Good Housekeeping and the bestseller, Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul.
If that wasn’t enough, Kathy was instrumental in the creation of The Bridge Breast Center in Dallas, Texas. Its mission is to provide diagnosis and treatment to uninsured breast cancer patients. Still feeling she could do more, in 2001, Kathy co-founded CURE Magazine. Kathy is also a performer. Her one-woman show, “One Mutant Cell” is a humorous and, at the same time, very serious account of her journey through breast cancer. She performs the show a minimum of forty times a year at various cancer events. In this special segment, Kathy LaTour will share her accomplishments while also speaking intimately about the FEAR OF RECURRENCE: the most prevalent, and often debilitating, psychological issue faced when treatment ends -- for survivors and their caregivers. Through personal struggle and acquired expertise, Kathy shares specific techniques to deal with the fear of recurrence and keep it from running your life.
This month's show topic is “Trial By Fire” is a documentary based on RSD/CRPS created by Celebrity Chef Charles Mattocks, as seen on CNN, Dr. Oz, The Today Show and many more mainstream media across the United States and around the world. Charles is also a best-selling author, World Diabetes Advocate and film-maker. Charles’ mother, who is the sister of the late legendary reggae legend Bob Marley, was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS about 4 years ago. Charles, who also recently lost his father from cancer, was moved to create Trial By Fire after seeing his father’s loss and wanting to help his mother who seemingly is at a point where he is in fear of losing two parents in a very short span. Everyday more and more basic freedoms and good American jobs are being removed from America. The very best cure is to completely decapitate the WZs from their source of FIAT Money-power by “nationalizing” the Federal Reserve System, seizing all its assets, arresting all of its Directors, trying them for RICO Financial Fraud, Sedition and Treason.

I admit it I am biased I'm a boxing fan. I grew up watching the sport with my conspiracy crazed uncle Glenn. I watched Muhammad Ali at tail end of his great career. I also remember other great fighters such as Sugar Ray Leonard,"Marvelous" Marvin Hagler, Tommy "the Hitman" Hearns, Roberto Duran as well As Larry Holmes and later on Mike Tyson. I used to save my coins to purchase K.O magazine. boxing always appealed to me. It gave me great entertainment there is such a beauty to it especially when I see a boxer get knocked to the canvas and eyes rolled back. MMA on the other hand has started gaining steam its history is not as detailed but, some think it's better than the sweet science. The fights take place in a mad Max thunder dome type of setting chain linked fence octagon. I think it's a fad. I don't get why it gets so much love from crazy fans call in and explain this fad to me
