Cryptography is a necessary component to for protecting data, regulatory compliance, and mitigating the risk of breaches, for government, retail, financial, and healthcare companies. Recent events in the news show how the a compromise of 38 million accounts could have been much worse if encryption had not been adopted as part of the data management solution. The only question is: why wasn't it used to protect all of the data? Rick Robinson leads us thru the discussion and everything you need to know.

His first bestseller, Applied Cryptography, explained how the arcane science of secret codes actually works, and was described by Wired as "the book the National Security Agency wanted never to be published." His book on computer and network security, Secrets and Lies, was called by Fortune "[a] jewel box of little surprises you can actually use." Beyond Fear tackles the problems of security from the small to the large: personal safety, crime, corporate security, national security. His book, Schneier on Security, offers insight into everything from the risk of identity theft (vastly overrated) to the long-range security threat of unchecked presidential power and the surprisingly simple way to tamper-proof elections.
Regularly quoted in the media -- and subject of an Internet meme -- he has testified on security before the United States Congress on several occasions and has written articles and op eds for many major publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Forbes, Wired, Nature, The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Boston Globe, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Washington Post.
Schneier also publishes a free monthly newsletter, Crypto-Gram, with over 150,000 readers. In its ten years of regular publication, Crypto-Gram has become one of the most widely read forums for free-wheeling discussions, pointed critiques, and serious debate about security. As head curmudgeon at the table, Schneier explains, debunks, and draws lessons f
Tonights show is going to help those wanting to get started with the cryptocurrency known as "Bitcoin". Since Doug has been using it, since the beginning (and when it was worthless), he is the best one to do a step by step walkthrough and tutorial for beginners.
At first glance, the entire venture into Bitcoin seems intimidating. There is new slang and it looks like you need to know something about cryptography to use it. You don't! As a matter of fact, if you can use PayPal, then you already have the required skills to use Bitcoin.
Doug will also talk about the volatility in Bitcoin's price. Recent extreme fluctuations have cause Bitcoin to make mainstream headlines. It's high value is actually a testament to its entire structure; and the security in which it is built on, is the main reason for it to be valued high.
Finally Doug will give you an up to date list of places where you can get Bitcoins for free. Whether they are faucets, small tasks, viewing ads, etc there are quite a few websites that are willing to give away pieces of the currency. But forget trying to Google "Free Bitcoins", half the sites you'll get are defunct or scams.
Doug will give you the legitimate sources of bitcoin sites, that are proven to pay. And last but not least, the rip-off artists are everywhere. Doug just lost more than $100 USD & he'll tell you who did it and others to avoid.

Call in number to speak to Rick is : (347) 855-8164 Rick was selected for the United States Air Force Academy right out of high school. He later attended Vincennes University and earned an Associates of Science in Laser and Electro-Optics Technology. He worked for defense contractors a number of years and then took a job with the US Navy as a civilian with an engineering support field activity, Most of this work was in direct support of Special Operations forces equipment acquisitions. In that capacity, Rick also became familiar with video-teleconferencing technology. But all those years, Rick was also reading everything he could find about the weird and unusual, history, archeology, paleontology, geography, cartography, cryptozoology, cryptography, and hollow earth theory. After leaving government employment in 2004, Rick began this hunt for hidden knowledge full time. He also began blogging, researching, and writing, and, in early 2007, started an internet radio show entitled “The Oopa Loopa Cafe”. In 2008, he began pestering his long time research buddy, Dennis Crenshaw, to start another internet show about the various mysteries. Dennis chose the title “Unraveling the Secrets”. At the beginning of 2010, those 2 shows became part of an affiliation network with other show hosts to form Paranormal Soup Network. By the end of 2010, the endeavor was re-branded and renamed the Soup Media Network.

From Terrence McKenna, to Jose Arguelles, to Clif High, modern navigators and explorers have been looking for cycles and patterns in and through time. Add Tom Payne to that list.Payne, a former Army Ranger, has found that cycles in history can be broken down into fifty-year-increments, with immense social change occurring at or near those fifty-year periods.Payne has road tested his theories on paper and in the business world as they relate to marketing trends.Somewhere between The Bible Code and The Matrix, Tom Payne has uncovered "The Template Of Time."Please join me as I dialog with Tom about this fascinating subject, moving backwards and forwards through the concept of timeThe Template Of Time
