The I Am Crucified With Christ "Constant"

    in Spirituality

This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the co-crucified with Christ constant.  Believing ones are called to uphold the compelling ethos of the Christ event experientially.  Self interest must bow before the authority of Jesus.  Co-crucifixion with Christ is a mandate to once and for all give up carnal desires and enslaving lusts. How else can one answer the high calling of God in Christ Jesus? Paul realized that the genius of the Faith is in the gestalt of death to the self(sarx), and yes to newness of life in Jesus.

    Crucified & Exchanged!

    in Religion

Being born again is more than the consequence of "accepting Christ", or answering an alter call. It is a new mode of existance: A transformation from a being of flesh to a spirit being created in the image of God. As sons and daughters of God, we are born again, spirit creatures. We are made in the image of God. We are a new species so to speak. Our former mode of existence is past. Our former self died and was buried. In the manner of Jesus, we died and yet we were raised to new life. An exchange was made: a substitution of natures. Our new nature is Christ.

"And entering the tomb, they (Mary Magdalene,Mary the mother of James and Salome), they saw a young man clothed in a long white rob sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.  But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed.  You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified.  He is risen!  He is not here.  See the place where they laid him.  "But go and tell his disciples--and Peter--that He is going before you into Galee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."

    Not I, But Christ!

    in Religion

It is time for a change in our perspective about our relationship with God! No longer shall my relationship with God be scripted or type casted by the things of this world. The world will take our life in the spirit and make it a lie. We must die to the ways of preconceived spirituality and live our lives not OF Christ but IN Christ Jesus. When we decide that we want to live in the righteousness of God, because it gives me peace, love and so many other benefits, we allow old self to be crucified, so that Christ can then live IN us. Therefore, we no longer live...... Come join Rebirthed for the King, Friday, January 22, 2016 at 7:30 pm as we unpack the theme: "No I, But Christ," based on the book by Jason R. Henderson. Come participate in the discussion from scripture:

    Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me

I die Lord Jesus that you shall live your righteousness in me!
