    in Christianity

Ministry moments are short teachings or ministry that gives you the listener lots of information to go back and study in your quiet time with the Lord.  This month the series is entitled, "Jesus and Him Crucified.'  As we walk to this life with all of its struggles, have we forgotten who loves us still?  Are we so busy doing a work for the Lord that we have forgotten to have a relationship with him.  We are surrounded by distractions that make us wonder what happened to the day.  We intended to do more...let's change our direction and remember to put first things first--Jesus and Him crucified.

    Crucified & Exchanged!

    in Religion

Being born again is more than the consequence of "accepting Christ", or answering an alter call. It is a new mode of existance: A transformation from a being of flesh to a spirit being created in the image of God. As sons and daughters of God, we are born again, spirit creatures. We are made in the image of God. We are a new species so to speak. Our former mode of existence is past. Our former self died and was buried. In the manner of Jesus, we died and yet we were raised to new life. An exchange was made: a substitution of natures. Our new nature is Christ.

TEN THOUGHT-PROVOKING QUESTIONS ASKED OF CHRISTIANITY

    in Religion

Tonight we be looking at ten questions that both non-believers and believers alike have asked concerning the Christian faith, throughout the centuries.

We will be examining questions that deal with the often misunderstood concept of the Trinity... The Church and its relationship with the Mosaic Law and the Old Testament... The Divinity and Humanity of Yahshua... Why does God allow such suffering in the world...and, Was Christ actually crucified on what is known as "Good Friday" and a few more, as well.

Our study will not be presented from the opinion of man, not even, I myself, but rather, from the Word of Almighty God, found in the Holy Bible.

    WWJD #FERGUSON

    in Religion

THIS WEEK: We continue to discuss the Kingdom of Heaven and will ask What Would Jesus Do in Ferguson. We have heard the media and even christians and pastors depict Mike Brown as a "Thug" and a "Criminal". How would Jesus who was crucified between two theives (thugs i.e. criminals) deal with the situation. What Does the bible say on these matters? How does one who claims to love God, hate his neighbor? How do YOU fufill "loving thy neighbor as thyself and justify a youth being murdered for an allegedly stealing cigars?

Mark 12:31 The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these

TUNE IN as we break bread and get to the TRUTH.

Spiritual Fruit and Manifestations: Walking in the Spirit

    in Spirituality

    Galatians 5:22-26 (NKJ)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

stoy-kheh'-o—from a derivative of steicho (to range in regular line); to march in (military) rank (keep step), i.e. (figurative) to conform to virtue and piety :- walk (orderly).

It literally means to walk in line with; it is not the same as the word used for physical walking in (Gal 5:16). To walk in the Spirit is to walk along the path that He lays down

The person who is led by the Spirit will do what is right freely, not by a sign in the road; by set of rules or by compulsion from the law.

Walking in the Spirit is a sign of maturity understanding our purpose!
