October 11 - Joel Del Rosario and SureWill Clark

September 19 - Bassist - Anthony Crawford
Born June 29th, 1981, Anthony Crawford was raised in a family of talented musicians. His father, funk and rock drummer Hubert (H bomb) Crawford has played with notable greats like James Brown, Cyndi Lauper, Mothers Finest, Mark Farner of the Grandfunk Railroad, The bar kays, and was the original drummer for the Eric Gales Band, while his uncle is the legendary jazz saxophonist Hank Crawford.
Anthony began playing with the legendary R&B group Shalmor in 2004 and shortly after with Howard Hewett. He then met jazz saxophonist Kirk Whalum. Together the pair performed a few shows and collaborated to create the music for a movie commentary filmed in South Africa.
Since then, Anthony has worked with Justin Timberlake, Erykah Badu, Peabo Bryson, Jeff Lorber, Dave Weckl, Everette Harp, Frank McComb, gospel legend Andrae Crouch, Karen Briggs, Virgil Donati, guitar legend Allan Holdsworth, and Eric Marienthal.
Anthony's latest CD "Urban Jazz – My Story" is a collage of the entire spectrum of Jazz, and demonstrates his ease and flexibility in moving from one style to another.
September 24 - Guitarist - Patrick Yandall
Join me for a delightful afternoon as we welcome the return of Jazz Guitarist, Patrick Yandall. Two of Patrick's latest achievements are the inclusion of his tracks, "Mr. Fattburger", in the hit film "FRUITVALE STATION" in 2013, and "Who's The Bossa Now" from his album "Samoa Soul" was used in the political satire film, "War, Inc", starring John Cusack and Marissa Tomei.
Patrick has just released his 13th CD, and oh my goodness, it is steaming! Two lucky winners just might have a chance to get their hands on an autographed copy!
October 4 - Jazz Singer - Antoinette Montague
Antoinette Montague has a love of humanity and music to bring joy to people. She has played most of the major jazz clubs in New York, and recently returned from Israel with the 46-piece Ashdod Orchestra, and is on her way to to perform with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in Russia.
Antoinette feels just as appreciated here at home by people who enjoy the spirit she loves to bring inside of her music. Jimmy Heath says, “Antoinette has the instrument, delivery and enunciation, when performing, that touches my soul.”

September 10 - Saxophonist - Andrew Neu
Blending a unique mix of jazz, R&B, classical and Latin music, Philadelphia's own, Andrew Neu, is well respected throughout the industry for his work as a saxophonist, woodwind player, arranger, composer and recording artist. Whether he’s in concert as a solo artist or a sideman, Neu’s musicianship and powerful stage presence continue to get the attention of audiences and critics alike. Passionate best describes him.
Andrew has toured and appeared at major festivals and concert halls throughout the world, performing with musical luninaries such as Bobby Caldwell, Smokey Robinson, Pat Martino, Randy Brecker, Joey DeFrancesco, Lew Soloff, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright, Euge Groove, Kim Waters, Warren Hill, Nick Colionne, David Benoit, Eric Darius, Chieli Minucci and Brian Simpson to name a few.
His new CD, Everything Happens For A Reason, is a soulful, eclectic masterpiece of old meeting new - forming an explosive combination of jazz styles.
May 15 - Keyboardist, Compser, Producer - Cal Harris, Jr
Cal is returning to Jazzin Em Up With Cres O'Neal to introduce his brand spanking new CD, Shelter Island. You get to hear it first, right here. And, ladies and gentlemen, be prepared to be pleased!, very prepared Cal has definitely struck gold!!
June 25 - Award Winning Guitarist - Rob Tardik
In a career spanning over two decades, Rob Tardik has established himself as an award winning guitarist and instrumental music artist. He has performed at venues all across North America and for 5 consecutive years at the coveted Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, held in Mississauga’s Living Arts Center. Rob has shared the stage with the likes of legendary producer Phil Ramone, Tower of Power founding member Greg Adams, two time Grammy winners Paul Brown and Liberty Silver, guitarist Peter White, and 4-time Grammy award winning saxophonist David Sanborn. Rob has also opened for legendary guitarist/singer Jose Feliciano.
His brand new CD, Limitless, will be coming your way in a few days, and is destined to be a hit. His hit single, One World, is already taking the charts by storm.
May 27 - Flautist - Althea Rene
Gaining her musical inspiration from the accomplishments of her father Dezie McCullers of the "Motown Review" and the "Original Funk Brothers", Althea Rene has definitely clipped her wings - becming one of the most articulate, expressive jazz flautists today. Her new CD, "In The Flow", is a fine compilation of colorful tones that melodically "flow" through the hearts and souls of it's listening audience.
April 25 - Saxophonist - Kenyon Carter
Kenyon Carter is an Atlanta-based jazz saxophonist and international recording artist recognized for his melodic smooth jazz compositions and engaging live performances. He expresses his creative and soulful style through a beautiful and sultry sound. Although unique and entirely unmistakeable, he has been compared to contemporary smooth jazz favorites like Boney James, Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum and Gerald Albright.
April 10 - Dutch Singing Sensation - Bart Brandjes
Bart was stuck in studio for last weeks interview. But he will be here, today, to talk a little bit about himself, and his brand new project with two time Grammy winner, Paul Brown.
Bart Brandjes, a 50 year old carpenter from Amsterdam, captured the imagination of a nation on his way to becoming a finalist on The Voice of Holland. The coaches on the show were openly awe-struck by his incredible voice and charisma. Were it not for his more mature age, many insiders have reasoned that he would have been the victor and named the new “Voice of Holland.”
Unknown to the American public, Brandjes is actually a well-experienced performer in Holland and was discovered internationally through the worldwide recording affiliations of double Grammy winner, Paul Brown, and subsequently introduced to Woodward Avenue Records.
Ladies and Gentlemen...you are definitely in for a treat!
March 26 - Grammy Nominated Percussionist - Wilson "Chembo" Corniel
If ever there was a musician that has paid his dues, and quite possibly cried the blues, it would be Conga master and all around percussionist, Wilson “Chembo” Corniel. From his humble beginning in Red Hook, Brooklyn in the 1970′s and on, he was blessed to be mentored by some of the legends of percussion such as; Tommy Lopez, Little Ray Romero, and Cachete Maldonado among others.
April 16 - Vocal Sensation - Toni Redd
Georgian born songstress, Toni Redd, is an internationally known vocalist with an intense style. The captivating and sultry vocal styling of Toni Redd combines traditional jazz, pop, classic soul, and urban rhythm & blues to create her own unique and powerful ambience - as she takes us on her musical trek via that down home, rich, old school sound that fully grasps the emotional heart and soul of her listeners. During her illustrious career, Toni has had the honor of performing and sharing the stage with Najee, Gerald Albright, Stanley Jordan, Jonathan Butler, Everette Harp, The Temptations, Maysa, the Rippingtons, The Yellowjackets, Gerald Austin, Stanley Jordan, The Temptations, Oleta Adams, Walter Beasley, Joe McBride, Marion Meadows, Kim Waters, and many others. In addition, Ms. Redd is an actor who has toured with the stage play “A Good Man is Still Hard to Find”; was a guest performer in the independent film “Losing Grace” and Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.”
