Kenni is a 31-year old author, sexual assault awareness advocate, and entrepreneur. Her literary works include Ask No Questions (murder mystery), A Girl's Perspective (poetry), Merrilittle: Murder in a Small Town (young adult murder mystery, 1st in a series), Striving for Happily Ever After (marriage self-help), The Girls (Urban Fiction), My Dad is an Army Man (children’s book) and the Karma series (Contemporary Women’s Fiction).
Passionate about her chosen field, Kenni created her own company in 2012, Kenni Enterprises LLC, which specializes in teaching creative writing classes for youth and adults throughout the metro Atlanta area. The company also facilitates workshops and seminars, provides one on one tutorial sessions to help middle school children strengthen their writing skills in preparation for scholastic, writing based tests in addition to offering copy editing services for various online magazines, ghostwriting services, and author consultations.
Kenni and her company are dedicated to active community involvement. Annually, Kenni hosts a youth book drive to promote summer reading amongst school aged children. Over time, this initiative has worked to provide several county recreation centers, daycares, children’s hospitals, and children shelters with reading and educational materials for their youth. Additionally, Kenni organizes and hosts an annual benefit event during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April entitled Let Your Voice Be Heard. As a sexual assault survivor, Kenni feels it is important to get the word out about this growing epidemic in order to encourage men and women to raise their voices against this common and life-impacting crime.

Coach Tony Ussery, author of The Fitness Game, is serious about your living the life you truly desire. This week he shows us how to 'Get off the beaten path and create your own path'.
This week on Discussing it with Melissa you will sit down with us for some *girl talk* as we discuss our HOT topics:
“Conversations with girlfriends,” - It’s just women from all walks of life getting together and talking about relationships. It’s unscripted and real! This is the premise for the Conspire to Inspire event happening next week; An ALL male panel of relationship experts and authors taking the time to have a “sit down” if you will to speak with the ladies.
I've been a game show winner, a produced screenwriter, international traveler and now self-published author and radio talk show host. After losing my mom at the age of 15, I learned that tomorrow isn't guaranteed and if I wanted to live, I couldn't wait until I graduated, or until I found the perfect job or the perfect man (still looking for both of those), or until I reached retirement age. If I wanted to live, I had to do it now ... right now.
So I have taken advantage of the opportunities that have presented themselves to me and when there were no opportunities, I've made them. As a result, I've lived a life with very few regrets.
I started Get It Together Girl! to help women of all ages realize that you can live life on your terms and you can attain your definition of happiness and success; you just have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone and take a chance.
My concept is a simple one: start where you are, use what you have and you can get what you want.
Jump "In the Pickle Barrel" this morning at 8AM-10AM EST as we talk about two totally different topics! 1. what is NOT happening on the issue of Illegal Aliens. Where's the debate? Is this a too controversial issue to discuss this time around? 2. We talk about the fure of our children, but what is really getting done to give them a future or at least prepare them for their future? This and more "in the Pickle Barrel".
