Carol the Coach will be interviewing Adam Calvert who is a licensed professional counselor and CSAT-Supervisor. So many sexual addicts want a program that integrates solid recovery with scripture based Christian Theology. Route1520’s EMBARK Men’s Recovery Intensive is a four-day event designed to provide a jumpstart for the recovery journey. The intensive focuses specifically on sexual addiction and involves a comprehensive approach to healing that goes beyond the acting out behavior and gets to the root issues that are driving the unwanted behavior. Attendees of the intensive are divided into small groups and work with licensed counselors, including a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), specifically trained in treating sexual addiction.
If you are wanting a scriptured based recovery program ... Route 1520 is for you!
Route1520 approaches recovery from sexual addiction by following a twelve-step model that integrates with Scripture-based Christian theology. Those who identify with Route1520 community are primarily people who identify their Higher Power as the God of Scripture.
This week's lesson is in the art of discrimination.
Have an open mind when this new and very tempting situation presents itself, but only go midway to meet it. Look and listen, and the truth will be revealed well before you become completely engaged and are involved in a downward spiral of negative energy. Be on notice to protect yourself and honor your sacred space. Find stillness in the potential chaos. It is here you will find the truth that will serve you.
In all things there is
Dark and there is light,
Yin and yang.
Do not be seduced by
Flattery or riches.
In your situation, attempting to be in control is folly. You cannot control what the heavens bring your way. Simply let this yin energy flow through you. Do not retreat, even if you feel afraid. Use your fear as fuel to look deeply into the situation and it will bring clarity and light into what was previously held in darkness. Above all, do not turn your back on this force. Bravely take the risk to face your fears, and the darkness will become light. Your weaknesses will become your strength, and your tears will give way to joy. Grieve for what or whom you must let go of and make your move into with the lightness achieved as you move to satisfaction and completion.

what it means to be transgender? Transexual? Cross-dresser?
What is gender identity and gender expression?

Legal discrimination in access to health insurance, employment, housing, marriage, adoption, and retirement benefits. Lack of laws protecting against bullying. Lack of social programs for LGBT youth, adults, and elders. Shortage of health care providers competent in LGBT health
