Tonight's show I will talk about the NBA playoffs and the teams who were eliminated already. In addition I want to touch base on stories that are happening while the NBA playoffs are in session like Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love injury and him being out for at least 4-6 weeks. Also JR smith being suspended for two games and how his suspension can potentially hurt the cavs in round two of the playoffs playing against Chicago. Finally I will give my opinion on what teams will make it out of the second round of the playoffs and then give my pick on what teams will make it to the finals and who will win the NBA finals. In addition i will talk to Coach E about his team ‘’ the saints ‘’ and also ask him '' What is one lesson you teach your boys through basketball that they can apply to their personal lives''. Finally I will get his pick on who will win the NBA finals.
The Tigers pick up a 6-4 win over the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium to split the series and reclaim first place in the American League Central Division over KC by a half game. Anibal Sanchez picked up the win but not before the 7th and 8th innings made the game very interesting, and Joakim Soria picked up his 10th save out of his 10th save opportunity. Miguel Cabrera (2-run home run) and Alex Avila drove in 5 of the 6 runs scored for the Tigers, and the other run was scored on an error.
I preview the Tigers/White Sox series at U.S. Cellular Field in Chiago.

Black People in the United States of America are protesting the injustice they feel they have been suffering. Many White People don't understand why Black People aren't outraged at the recent killing of two Police Officers.
Where is the disconnect? And why are some turning to violence? What are the real underlying problems and what are the solutions? People are dying, neighborhoods are being destroyed and fingers are being pointed. But who is to blame? Those who express anger through violence or those who many Black People say pushed them to violence? Who needs to take responsibility for what?
On this show, we would really like Black People and White People with courage to call in and let's talk things out...
Agreement is never required on our show, but courtesy and respect are, so there is never any reason to be silent.

On the inaugural edition of History Today, host Paul Angel, the managing editor of The Barnes Review (TBR) history magazine, will be discussing a variety of historical matters with an eye toward how they affect our lives today.
The riots in Ferguson and Baltimore are still on everyone’s mind. The media seems obsessed with giving a forum to disgruntled blacks who are having a hard time admitting that one’s life is what one makes of it. (And one’s culture, as well.) Besides the bugaboos of “white entitlement” and “white racism,” slavery, of course, is the “reason” many blacks use to justify the sad state of the urban areas in which they dwell.
With that in mind, we will be discussing several historical events that deny this narrative.
Hundreds of thousands of Irish were sold into slavery by the British and brought to North America and the Caribbean. The men were literally worked to death, and the women used to produce an army of half-breed slaves. The Irish were the first slaves brought to the New World—not the Africans. But somehow, the Irish overcame this and thrived in America.
Michael Rockefeller, the son of the late Nelson Rockefeller, ventured off to Papua/New Guinea in the last 1950s and early 1960s to collect the art of the head-hunting cannibal Asmat people of the island. What happened to him after that is one of the great missing person’s cases of the 20th century. But now that case has been solved—and it is a shocker.
We will be discussing the black Asmat people and their strange and violent culture which bears an amazing resemblance to the culture of inner-city black America.
With Paul will be his partner in historical crime, Dave Gahary, the host of “Who’s the Bad Guy?”

Today on "It's My House" we shall take a look at the "root cause" of much of the rioting in urban cities in the United States Of America. The primary demographic that is seen in various pictures and news clippings are young black men. Many of these men and people in their community say that racism and white supremacy is to blame. However we shall take a look at some statistics take a look at the bigger picture.
There are only (6) HBCU Law Schools in the United States.
There are (30) teams in the NBA.
32 teams in the NFL
31 teams in MLB
There are 177,000 houses of worship (give or take) in the USA.
17,000 - 20,000 Afican American houses of worship in the USA
The Southern Baptish Convention has a membership of over 16,000,000 people.
Black churches have taken in more than $420,000,000,000.00 in tithes and offerings in the last 35 years. That averages out to $12,000,000,000.00 per year !
Orlando, Florida has a black population of over 65,000 people.
Do the math..........the root cause of the problem is Law Illiteracy and a over involvement in ENTERTAINMENT.
Dr. Danon Carter is joining us today to talk about the Baltimore incident with Toya Graham and her son. What is really behind the riots? Why should (or shouldn’t) Toya Graham be applauded? As the mother of a black male, Dr. Danon is going to share her thoughts on how some mothers of black sons feel about recent events. We're also going to touch on white priviledge, and how black women can include white women as part of the solution.
