Often at odds with each other, the Associated Beer Distributors of Illinois and the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild finally crafted some sweeping and overdue changes to craft brewing laws in Illinois loosening up tight restrictions on how and when craft brewers sell beer and how much they can brew. This new legislation was signed into law on August 24, 2015. In this podcast, attorney Kelly Anderson will explain the specifics of this new legislation.
Silverf0x said: My desire to write died six years ago, same time my brother died. Last week i had an idea that wouldn’t go away until i wrote it down. And What do you know, I actually enjoyed myself I wasn’t expecting it. Point is what do i do to ease myself into this so i don’t lose the enjoyment? And I’ve forgotten most of what i ever learned about craft So how do i pick up those skills again?

Do you consider yourself a craft beer connoisseur? No? Well neither do I, but it's hard to deny the impact of these fancy beers on the market today. Lately everywhere you go you see liquor store coolers, shelves, and bars full of craft beer with all sorts of hipsters hanging out and discussing.
Are you looking to get into the craft beer movement, but don't know where to begin? You're in luck! I'm happy to welcome Amanda from The Great Beer Adventure Podcast @greatbeerwomen to the Bumming With Bobcat podcast this week to discuss an introduction to craft beer with all you fine listeners!
I have personally given a few craft beers a try in the past and things have been hit and miss. I never know what types to try or even what I should be looking at. This is quite a change from the usual bottom shelf I'm used to of bum wine, 40's, malt liquor, and cheap beer. I feel that it is time that we all join together and broaden our horizons to learn more about the world of craft beer.
We will be discussing how the craft beer market is doing many creative things these days and how getting into it through your own favorite flavors will allow you entry into this very artistic movement.

We are meeting with The Casual Pint – a Tennessee-based craft beer market which started franchising its “coffee shop of beers” concept in January 2014. The story of The Casual Pint begins with Jon Robinette in 1976. That was the year Jon took up the grocery business, landing a job with Harris Teeter Neighborhood Food & Pharmacy in Mountain City, Tennessee. The first store located at Interstate 40 and Papermill Drive opened in 2011. In 2013, The Casual Pint began franchising with the first six franchise locations opening in 2014. Dedicated to sharing the craft beer experience in neighborhoods one pint, one growler and one person at a time, The Casual Pint offers a wide selection of brews from around the globe. Now the fastest-growing franchise in the craft beer industry, the Casual Pint’s business model is available for entrepreneurs nationwide. We are meeting with Nathan Robinette. In part 2, we are meeting with franchise expert Karol Mercurio and her advice to aspiring franchisees.
Rivermoon 1970 asked on Tumblr: I find that in some of my stories I use time jumps, not a lot and often not more than a couple of years at the most. However I usually try to have a very short explanation and try to avoid info dumps. I've noticed quite a few fics that have huge time jumps 10+ years often with no explanation. Happens a lot in the HP, Supernatural and Buffy fandoms. What are your thoughts on time jumps and how to use them well?
Side note: I'm going to start calling my short writing topic shows - Bitch Craft.

Au Says: You’ve said before that the original Harry Potter and the Soulmate Bond was written when you were younger and the current version is an updated, re-written version. And the version of Sentinels of Atlantis you’ve published is very different from the version you lost in the data crash. So my question is, when you enter into these situations where you are taking stories that you’ve already written before and decide to rewrite them, how do you go about deciding what to let go of, what to keep, what to change? So basically, how do you approach the process of rewriting something you’ve already written?

Jilly Asks: I don’t know if this question has come up, but what’s your strategy for managing multiple separate plot lines in a story? Whether it’s the more extreme version where you have one storyline happening on Earth and one on another planet, to minor secondary storylines.
