All Things Spiritual and Supernatural with Bill Cote, Greg Fields & Jay Worthey

    in Paranormal

On this episode of All Things Spiritual and Supernatural, your host Coyote Chris Sutton welcomes Greg Fields, Bill Cote and Jay Worthey of the Si-Si Wis Medicine Traditions.

Let Bill, Greg, Jay and Coyote Chris explain the ways of Si-Si Wis Medicine Traditions. These therapies are based on a spiritual view of life. Methods of healing include, but are not limited to, prayer, chanting, music, smudging (burning sage or aromatic woods), herbs, laying-on of hands, imagery, harmonizing with nature, dreaming, sweat lodges, developing inner silence, going on a shamanic journey, and partaking in ceremony.

An individual's connection to Nature and Mother Earth and communion with the spirit world is either in or out of harmony. The unique energies of the eight directions of the medicine wheel, as well as the sky, sun, moon, and earth, all play an integral part in Si-Si Wis medicine cosmology. Symptoms of illness are seen as connected with the spirit and energy. Rattles to break up blocks of dead or jammed energy and drums to align the person's spirit with the heartbeat of Mother Earth are sometimes used as a catalyst to help patients come back into harmony.

Learn about these traditions, how they connect with spirit and much more tonight on All Things Spiritual and Supernatural and don't forget to follow us on Twitter @AllThingsSAS for the latest in show news!

All Things Spiritual and Supernatural with Wes Forsythe - March 26,2015

    in Paranormal

Tonight on All Things Spiritual and Supernatural, your host Coyote Chris Sutton welcomes very special guest Wes Forsythe of www.ihuntghosts.com!

Wes' website iHuntGhosts.com exists to catalog and display what he has captured, discovered, thought about and just plain had fun with. Not everything there is evidence...but everything there is real. He is not famous. He will probably never be on television unless he is the witness to a tornado. He is not trying to validate some past personal experience. He may never prove anything to anyone. Wes hunts ghosts because he is driven to do it and his only true personal agenda is to share what he learns and experiences along the journey.

Wes came to this field fairly late in his life. However, he spends a lot of time researching ideas, theories, and equipment and approachs his investigations with enthusiasm, professionalism, and as much skepticism as he feels is warranted on a case-by-case basis. As the cliche says, "There are no real experts in this field." So the opinions he presents on his site can be measured on that scale. He investigates with a mix of technology and traditionalism. He does not believe that we can expect to solve all aspects of the paranormal by using the normal. However, he does not believe that personal experiences constitute proof. If Wes finds nothing, that does not mean there is nothing to find: The absence of proof is not the proof of absence. If he does find something he is also aware of the reality that he may not have found what he thinks he found. That is not to say he is not skeptical of claims. Even when Wes believes a location has paranormal activity, he does not see the value in believing every noise and shadow are ghosts.

Be sure to follow Wes on Twitter @ihuntghostscom!

All Things Spiritual and Supernatural's Premiere with Dustin Pari - 3/12/2015

    in Paranormal

Tonight on the premiere broadcast of All Things Spiritual and Supernatural, join your host Coyote Chris Sutton as he welcomes VERY special guest Dustin Pari!
So, who is Dustin Pari, other than the Paranormal Rockstar of Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters? He could sit here and tell you that throughout his life he has witnessed many extraordinary people struggle against incredible odds. He could tell you that his life has been so difficult, and at times emotionally crippling that he doubted his own survival. He could tell you anything and spin it to be motivational. But the one thing he must be is honest. Things have been okay. Some days have been full of wonder and pure happiness- days that he wished would never end. Other days he just wanted to go to bed and dream his troubles away until tomorrow. Truly he is no different than anyone else. None of us are. You must admit to yourself that at our core, we are all the same. We may be struggling against different circumstances- but at the core, we are the same. We may be set in different financial brackets- but at the core, we are the same. We may possess different abilities and talents- but at the core we are the same. All of us go through similar battles at one time in our life or another. The people are different, circumstances are slightly misarranged – but at the core, it’s all the same.
We all experience loss, betrayal, sadness and moments of pure injustice. What is even more disconcerting is the development of a subculture who wears their misery on their shirtsleeves, for no one can have it worse off than they do. Misery is their crown and they will fight for it. Live an inspired life!

Be sure to follow Dustin Pari on Twitter @DustinPari and check out his website at www.dustinpari.com

Also, be sure to follow All Things Spiritual and Supernatural on Twitter @AllThingsSAS for all the latest show news!

Incubi Incarnate Broadcast with Translating Phantoms - January 14,2015

    in Paranormal

Tonight on Incubi Incarnate Broadcast, your host Bill Bachman welcomes Josh Detwiler and James Matthews of Translating Phantoms!! Listen in for our special project announcement with Translating Phantoms and Coyote Chris Sutton!! Big things are coming in 2015!

Translating Phantoms was founded in late 2012 by Josh Detwiler and James Matthews. Josh has been investigating just shy of 5 years when he called his long time, childhood friend James and first asked him to watch The Scole Group’s documentary, The Afterlife Investigations. After, they did not start investigating in the “conventional” way most people think of an investigation. Instead they began with a series of experiments called The Basement Sessions. They were an attempt to re-create what the Scole Group achieved, but using their methods combined with modern day equipment. James was to say the least, a natural, he and Josh instantly had a connection and Translating Phantoms was born. In the spring of 2013 they stumbled upon The Nursery, an abandoned house sitting off an old stretch of highway. Intrigued by just the look of it and with no knowledge of the location at all, they went there just to see if the place was even haunted. With the amazing evidence they received they knew they hit a paranormal “goldmine” and they still visit the location to this day. Since, they have investigated many other locations but The Nursery will always be their “pride and joy”. Proof of the paranormal is irrelevant to Translating Phantoms; they feel that ghosts, spirits or whatever you want to call them have proved their existence time and time again.

No matter what happens to the paranormal community in the future, Translating Phantoms will always be there helping those who do not a voice anymore to tell their stories, let people know what happened to them and to try to find answers about what is really out there on the other side.

  • Author Chantal Noordeloos visits Reverie Radio

    in Books

Host Lori Hays welcomes author Chantal Noordeloos to Reverie Radio for a conversation of her newest horror release Angel Manor and Clockwork Dragon. Lori will have been thoroughly scared and wildly entertained by the time this show comes around, so be sure to tune in for a very interesting conversation with the twisted mind of a sweet loving horror writer!

Chantal Noordeloos (born in the Hague, and not found in a cabbage as some people may suggest) lives in the Netherlands, where she spends her time with her wacky, supportive husband, and outrageously cunning daughter, who is growing up to be a supervillain. When she is not busy exploring interesting new realities, or arguing with characters (aka writing), she likes to dabble in drawing.

In 1999 she graduated from the Norwich School of Art and Design, where she focused mostly on creative writing.
There are many genres that Chantal likes to explore in her writing. Currently Sci-fi Steampunk is one of her favourites, but her 'go to' genre will always be horror. "It helps being scared of everything; that gives me plenty of inspiration," she says.

Chantal likes to write for all ages, and storytelling is the element of writing that she enjoys most. "Writing should be an escape from everyday life, and I like to provide people with new places to escape to, and new people to meet."
