The Launch Ladies work at a coworking space in Albuquerque, New Mexico, called Convivium Coworking which is celebrating its one year anniversary this week.
It was Convivium's environment of collaboration that was really the catalyst for Meredith and Jasper coming together to create The Launch Ladies as it is now becoming. As online marketers we know that in order to create a successful online community you have to build the community first before you can get a return from the members of that community.
Convivium Coworking Founder, Deborah Reese is a master at creating community. In fact she spent the best part of a year working on her community and thinking about what that would look like before she ever looked at opening a Coworking space.
We are delighted, as part of our celebration of being part of the Convivium Coworking community, to dedicate this episode of the Launch Ladies' Online Marketing Cafe to a very special interview with Deborah Reese, Founder of Convivium Coworking.
If you ever wanted to know what creating a community is all about in a business context, whether online or offline, then you will want to hear this great conversation between Meredith and Deborah.

Our first guest will be and Kirby of the candy factory in Lancaster. And she will be talking about the benefits of co-working. Many small business owners today are technology-based and start out of their home.
There is a point at which they will outgrow the confines of their living space and need to enter into a place where they can meet with clients and do general business. Of course, this can be cost prohibitive for many small businesses before they are ready to make the move. Coworking provides small business owners with a reasonable bridge before they decide to purchase their own building or lease their own space.
Anne will be discussing with us how small business owners can best utilize this valuable resource and spend their focus on growth. The key in understanding co-working is alternately that it helps small businesses to intensify their capital, human resources and creativity. In early years on growing your business. Once the growth has accelerated behind the first few years of rapidly growing expenses, it may be then time to get their own. Until then co-working is a viable alternative.
Our next guest will be helping us to extend our resources. Her name is Maria Schelsinger and she is the head of the business owners trade alliance. The business owners trade alliance is an entity designed to help businesses to barter products and services money out-of-pocket. They have it effectively set up an exchange that makes it easy for businesses to work with each other in the area of barter.
The difficulty in doing these things outside of an alliance is that assigning value to your services is somewhat subjective. Receiving services in return can be problematic if both parties don't have a clear sense of the value as it is directed by the person doing the trading. Maria will be sharing with us strategies that small business owners are employing in order to extend their resources.
