On this edition of Carson's Corner, we welcome advocates from the election boycott movement, Terri Lee, Danny Haiphong, and Chris Driscoll. Terri was the co-coordinater of the Campaign to Boycott the 2012 Presidential Election. Danny is a blogger for Black Agenda Report and the author of “Making the Case for an Election Boycott: Why the Left Should Refrain from US Imperialism's Electoral Charade.” Chris was the media director and spokesperson for the 2008 Ralph Nader campaign for president and the 2006 Populist Party candidate for governor of Maryland.
Since the 1950s Americans increasingly stoped voting. Even in the historic 2008 Obama election with a record number of African Americans and youth turning out, only 58 percent voted. In non-presidential Congressional elections, less than 40 percent vote. While voting advocates charge apathy and lazyness, most nonvoters say they are fed up with a currupt government and elections with no reasonable choice. In recent elections, non-voters have been the majority, and if they had been a political party, would have been by far the largest party in America.
The loss of faith in the government is not only reflected in low voter turnout; the most recent Gallop Poll found only 7 percent have a positive view of Congress.
Laws restricting third party participation, an elections system that favors money over votes, a two-party system that has no room for any other than the official liberal and conservative ideologies, a Supreme Court that protects the right of billionaires to buy elections and politicians. Why bother, the majority of Americans ask as they throw their hands up in exasperation with a system that just doesn't work for them.
Our guests will be discussing how a group of dedicated activists are working to turn this American majority into a powerful, vocal movement to forge change and bring about a genuine democracy.
As reported on NPR by Joseph Shapiro,
"In Augusta, Ga., a judge sentenced Tom Barrett to 12 months after he stole a can of beer worth less than $2.
In Ionia, Mich., 19-year-old Kyle Dewitt caught a fish out of season; then a judge sentenced him to three days in jail.
In Grand Rapids, Mich., Stephen Papa, a homeless Iraq War veteran, spent 22 days in jail, not for what he calls his "embarrassing behavior" after he got drunk with friends and climbed into an abandoned building, but because he had only $25 the day he went to court....people sometimes go to jail when they fall behind paying these fees.

Scholars have told us that the first civilisation on Earth emerged in a land called Sumer some 6000 years ago. New archaeological discoveries made by Michael Tellinger and a team of leading scientists, show that the Sumerians and Egyptians inherited all their knowledge from an earlier civilisation living at the southern tip of Africa more than 200,000 years ago… mining gold.
These mysterious people left behind 10 million stone ruins scattered throughout southern Africa, carved detailed images into the hardest rock, worshipped the sun, and carved the Egyptian Ankh 200,000 years before the Egyptians came to light. Michael discusses the evidence that this civilisation had an astute knowledge of the laws of nature and the generation of FREE ENERGY from Mother Earth.
So how do we connect the origins of our species to today’s confusing world?
Only by understanding our mysterious past, the origins of money and the rise of the royal bloodlines, can we make sense of where we are heading, and why life is such a struggle. Tellinger presents a new social structure called CONTRIBUTIONISM – A World Without Money – based on the African philosophy of UBUNTU. He proposes moving from a money-driven society to one driven by people, and their passion for life, where everyone contributes their natural talents or acquired skills for the greatest benefit of all in the community – and money has no meaning. Tellinger has been one of the leading activists against the banking cartels in South Africa since 2010 and his personal experiences in the High Court has helped him to expose the corrupt banking sector.
Join Freedom Agent Brendan D. Murphy and Aimee Devlin this Sunday night at 9pm for this exciting preview to Michael’s live talks in Australia this July.

The Celtic's Summer League schedule is officially over. The Celtic's rookies and sophmores took to the court to show off their talents to Celtic's GM Danny Ainge and Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens. The Celtics played teams that represented the Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic in that same order. So how did our recent draft picks PG Marcus Smart and SG James Young fair. Did they dominate and prove that Danny Ainge really has something in these 2 guys or did some of the Celtic's sophmores like Kelly Olynyk shine throughout the summer schedule. We will break all of it down as well as any free agent signing the celtic's may have made between our shows. Rich Contee of CLNS Radio and Jamey Burke from RedsArmy.com will join the Celtics Talk Crew to give further insight on the Celtic's future
OCWEN RMA IN REVIEW TO AVOID FORECLOSURE QWR IN PROCESS TO QUESTION DEBT VALIDATION FORECLOSURE ATTORNEY FILED MOTION IN COURT FOR FORECLOSURE VIOLATING FEDERAL LAW
"the daily complaint"
Every weekday we will be answering client complaints on THE DEBT SHOW to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.
I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need. The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just scumbags but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.
We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on THE DEBT SHOW!
We hope you enjoy THE DEBT SHOW...

Dr. Chaps reports on these important issues:
* The Supreme Court ruling on Hobby Lobby will have a wide-ranging impact on religious freedom.
* American troops are forced to observe the muslim holiday Ramadan.
* Atheists fail to remove “In God We Trust” from U.S. currency.
Somewhat of a snarky show title that perhaps does and at the same time drifts away slightly from the direction and content of today's show. It's been kind of a busy, complicated, not so great week personally, which will be explained. But because of that, after no show at all on Thursday, today's show will be some kind of last minute commentary on a few stories that I came across today that jumped out at me as being relevant or important. I'll have a story or a collection of notes basically that gives us I suppose the latest look at the IRS scandal. I don't think there can be any doubt that this was a weaponizing of the IRS by the administration against its political enemies and we're looking at yet another coverup. I'll also talk about, for some reason, the continued debate and argument over the Hobby Lobby case as those on the left and even it would seem some churches and some Christians believe the Supreme Court got it wrong. Of course, they didn't get it wrong and standing up for religious liberty used to be a given in this country. Doesn't seem to be as much the case today. But that's the show at 4:30 Eastern and archived after that.
Dr. Chaps reports on these important issues:
* The Supreme Court to declines to intervene for the Mt. Soledad Cross. Will it be removed?
* Justina Pelletier is safe at home, but will Congress stop more government kidnappings?
* Pastors in Houston want to protect children from transgenders.
