    New Country Artist: Blaire Hanks

    in Country Music

Blaire Hanks is a young, new up and coming singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN. He grew up in a small town in north east Florida, had a great appreciation for many genres of music and began writing songs by age 15. Blaire developed a small fan base that encouraged him to pursue his love for music; he performed for many local events and fell in love with the idea of making a living doing what he enjoyed so much. Like many artists, Blaire knew if he was going to make a career in Country music, he had to move to Nashville. At only 19, he made that move, determined to find his way in Music City and make a name for himself. Blaire met some writers and made a connection with an singer/songwriter named Johnny T. They collaborated on a few songs and Johnny decided to cut a song they wrote together, 'Buzzin'. Blaire then released his first single as an artist to iTunes in January, 'Show You Off'. His debut EP recently released in May. Blaire has had the opportunity to open for Florida Georgia Line, and most recently opened for Dustin Lynch.

    Rising Country Artist: Matt VanFossen

    in Country Music

The passage of time is a common theme in the lyrics of several of Matt VanFossen’s songs. He touched upon it on his debut release several years ago, but really drives the point home on the newly released I Didn’t Come Here to Lose album.

Matt currently has a regional hit with the album’s first single, “A Woman’s Words.” The single has been added to country station Froggy 103.5 in Pittsburgh and regularly hits the Top Request list. Rising Country Artist: Amanda Daughtry

    in Country Music

It doesn't get more country than a 7 year old little girl hearing Randy Travis' "Diggin' Up Bones" on the radio and finding herself in Nashville with a tidal wave of a career poised to hit the shore sooner than later.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Amanda Daughtry.

Originally hailing from Johnston County, North Carolina, Amanda has spent the past few years solidifying her status as a must-see performer in all areas of the state that built her into the woman she is today. Her roots can be seen through the lens of her family musical influence, which can be traced back to her grandmother, who led the 1st soprano section of the church choir. Eventually, once she was old enough to drive, Amanda was able to go off and sing as a part of many theatre and country variety shows in the area. Eventually, she put together a full band of her own and spent a number of years booking and managing the outfit herself as they traveled.

Amanda has built a solid reputation of performing a vast array of current and classic country music, classic rock, and mainstream pop alongside songs of her own that she shares with those who are willing to listen. Any given night, there's not a chance that someone walks out of the show without having a great time. Amanda's success has been validated with opportunities to open for top country acts like Chris Young and Justin Moore.

LizyT talk to Dorian Sean international country artist

    in Country Music

Born July 16, in Caldwell Texas, Dorian Sean is the son of a singer/pianist and a school teacher. Music has always been an inspiration in his life. “Hearing my mother play influenced me to take to music at a very young age. During my academic years, I shared the classroom with the eclectic Erykah Badu and actor Lou Diamond Phillips. Seeing both of their careers take shape, strongly encouraged me to pursue my dream to be a singer and songwriter.”
At the age of 18, Dorian wrote and recorded his first single “Say It”. But surprisingly his first aired single was not one that denoted his love of country music, but one that exemplifies his love for God. The song was titled “Son of Man. Many radio stations denied the airplay of the song, but DJ AJ Whiteside decided every man needed a chance to prove himself and released the song over the airwaves. That day the fate of Dorian Sean Music was forever changed.
After many years of sharing his talents in various markets with other labels and artists, Dorian decided it was time to return to his first love, country music. The new single “She Loves Me” was originally written for George Strait but Dorian decided to release it.
