The Audacity of the Hopeless Left and Gearing Up for Debate

    in Politics Conservative

Today's show features a collection of stories and so much information that once again unfortunately I'll never be able to fit it all in to one show.  But I'll share and comment on what I can.  Highlights will include:

The left's move to monitor, censor, and "politically correct" speech on Twitter so the sensitive sorts can have one big safe zone.

A rebuttal to feminism and a rebuttal to Chelsea Clinton.

A little bit of a wrap up on Oregon, the Bundy family, and the BLM.

News on Ford Motor Company opening a plant in Mexico-and why it would seem the Donald is wrong on this one.

A look ahead at tonight's Republican debate.

I'll try to cover all of that on today's show, live at 4:30 Eastern time and archived after that on American Faith Today.

Weak Black Men are Destroying the Black Race.

    in Current Events

Weak Black Men have unfortunately become the norm in visibility all over the world. It is a well known adage that a Strong Black Man will either be killed or neutralized through incarceration, homosexualization or other means.  Although this is a fact, it has now become an excuse.

The Black Man has found himself the victim of lynching, buck-breaking, homosexual rape, and other terrors for the simple reason that he has failed in his duty as the natural protector of the Black Woman. He is unable to understand that his condition is just a natural consequence of the abdication of this divine, God-given responsibility.

The only way that the Black Man can regain his manhood, authority and power is by standing up for the Black Woman. This is the only way he can redeem himself.

Join Nommo Userkaf as he explains why virtually every Black Man with high visibility in the media is weak.  And why that cowardice and lack of manhood is precisely why the system gives him high visibility.  If he is not standing up for the Black Woman, advocating for the Black Woman and intimately associated with Black Women only, then he is a weakling and an active contributor to the Destruction of Our Beloved Black Race.

How To Hold On To Your Faith When All Hell Breaks Loose!

    in Christianity

It is no secret that today we are living during a time of unrest, racial injustice, war, police brutality, social and economic inequalities, a rise in the suicide rate and the list goes on and on. We are challenged daily to pray, believe that things will get better and hold on to our faith. Many rely on God to make sense of the chaos while others are on the verge of giving up hope. Life is a journey with ups and downs, hills and valleys, success and disappointments.

On February 13, 2016 join ASWIFTT RADIO host Brenda Johnson Padgitt as she talks with Pastor Adrian Simmons about how to hold on to your faith when all hell breaks loose. The discussion will encourage and offer practical suggestions while coming from scripture. There will be times when life gets hard and our circumstances are magnified. The enemy has a way of making things seem more drastic than they really are. The famous acronym FEAR means False Evidence Appearing REAL is the best example that demonstrates how Satan attempts to disturb and frustrate us. The enemy wants us to believe temporary circumstances are permanent. He ultimately wants us to suffer despair and lose all hope.

Pastor Simmons is an ASWIFTT RADIO contributor. His weekly program “Bible Teachings by Pastor Adrian Simmons” airs on ASWIFTT RADIO on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 pm CST and 11 am PST. He is the pastor of Way of Grace Bible Church in Rancho Cordova, CA. He has been a bible teacher for over 11 years. In the past he taught Theology at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center, SAC County Jail Ministry, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Simmons currently preaches at Folsom Prison which is a men’s facility and New Folsom Prison Women’s facility. Previewing the NBA Trade Deadline

    in Basketball

Houston Rockets coach J.B. Bickerstaff called his team “broken” recently, and with the team currently out of the playoffs Dwight Howard could be on the move.

However, trading Howard may not be as easy as it sounds in theory as colleague Ben DuBose explained in a SheridanHoops column.

Trades talks are heating up with less than a week until the trade deadline on February 18.

Another player who may be dealt at the deadline is Phoenix Suns forward Markieff Morris who has wanted out since the summer when the team dealt his brother, Marcus, to the Detroit Pistons.

With that in mind, Michael Scotto of SheridanHoops.com joined Sportsnet 590 The Fan radio to discuss the latest on trade rumblings around the league and what the Rockets will do with Dwight Howard.

AgriFest, Scouting, Valentine's Day Jump Up, and Other Traditions in the USVI

    in Culture

Every February, St. Croix hosts the largest agricultural festival in the Territory. The St. Croix Agricultural Fair, or AgriFest, is a colorful display of locally produced agricultural products, livestock, arts & crafts, & native cuisine. Taking place over 3 days, festival goers can taste, touch, & see everything to do with St. Croix agriculture.

The Boy Scouts of America in the USVI was served in the early 20th Century through National Council Direct Service. Then the troops later were added as the Virgin Island District in the Puerto Rico-Virgin Islands Council. During the late 1960s & early 1970s, Troop 152, sponsored by Saint Patrick's Church, Frederiksted, Saint Croix, formed a steel band of grammar-school-age Scouts that was managed by Vivian Bennerson. The band toured internationally.

The Scout Association of the British Virgin Islands operates as a branch of the United Kingdom Scout Association, as the British Virgin Islands' affiliation as a British Overseas Territory. The BVI Scout Oath and Law, & other Scouting requirements, closely follow that of the United Kingdom.

Jump Up, held 4 times yearly, is a "carnival like" cultural party held in the streets & along the boardwalk of Christiansted. Sponsored by the CRRA (Christiansted Restaurant & Retail Association), it has become one of the islands' favorite social events for both locals & visitors alike.

Friends of Virgin Islands National Park and the National Park Service will partner to present the Annual Folk Life Festival in celebration of Black History Month in February on St. John.

The Real Deal Bible Study With Minister Akaiha On the Book Of Numbers 11-14

    in The Bible

I greet you with the joy that comes from knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God's has an awesome purpose and plan for our lives.  Even Greater Things (John 14:12). We are so excited you have tuned in today.  .  Praise the Lord for the great things He has done!

As our ancestors would say  " I'm a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save everybody". I pray that God will enabled you to further open your eyes and ears to Gods' word.

Numbers begins at Mount Sinai where the Israelites have received their laws and covenant from God and God has taken up residence among them in the sanctuary.  The task before them is to take possession of the Promised Land. The people are numbered and preparations are made for resuming their march. The Israelites begin the journey, but they "murmur" at the hardships along the way, and about the authority of Moses and Aaron. For these acts, God destroys approximately 15,000 of them through various means. They arrive at the borders of Canaan and send spies into the land, but upon hearing the spies' fearful report concerning the conditions in Canaan the Israelites refuse to take possession of it, and God condemns them to death in the wilderness until a new generation can grow up and carry out the task.

“God is not just in the church; He is also in technology..  “Walking with God is to stand where God stands, and to fight for whom God fights: the poor, the weak, the powerless and the defenseless. Walking with God is to have the courage to know that fear and trepidation before the might of the powerful is overturned by the fear of the Lord !  Walking with God is to understand, without doubt or equivocation that justice is what Yahweh requires.  Ashe Selah
