Opening tonight's show, Cathy Pagano returns with her monthly Cosmic Story, telling us what the Cosmos has cooked up for us in the coming month of August. Afterwards,in an extended What's the Buzz segment, I discuss Awakening the Women, musing on the women who consciously unconsciously are asleep at the wheel and serve as handmaidens of the patriarchy. I'll delve into how mythology affects our outlook, why a male god is harmful to women and girls and you'll hear out takes from when I was interviewed for Femme: Women Healing the World.
* Due to a technical problem with the connection, Mark and Patricia Johnson, two of America's top tantra experts discussing their book, Partners in Passion: A Guide to Great Sex, Emotional Intimacy and Long-Term Love, will be rescheduled.
First Guest: Cathy Pagano visits us again, discussing the Cosmic Story, or what the cosmos is cooking up for us in the coming weeks and how it might be relevant to our individual and collective lives.
Second Guest: Charlotte Cressey, animal liberation activist, educator, ecofeminist, creatrix of Earth Energy Yoga will discuss Embodied Love: Veganism as a New Paradigm of Relationship. Moving beyond "might makes right" mentality toward a shift to veganism as a new paradigm of relationship will be topic tonight as we discuss how you can enhance your sense of self-love, experience more pleasure on a daily basis, feel connected to Nature, dispel feelings of disconnection and separation from the divine and increase your energy, vitality and joy - all with a shift away from our carnivore habits and adoption of the vegan lifestyle. Charlotte explains how the use of animals for food and other products is the most heavily ingrained practice of institutionalized violence disconnecting us from our compassion and innate love that seeps into all areas of our lives and choices. Charlotte makes a case for wholeness as individuals and a global humanity and the real power each individual has to manifest a revolution of love and create a peaceful world for all beings.
All things in reality are simply connected? What you feel I feel but in my way. What I think most think but not in the same way? We all are a unique expression of our self yet we spend to much time attenmpting to be like everyone else. All this does is drive us appart, why simply because the more we try to be lik every one else the more division we find. The more we focuse on why we are not alike. Frankly we were never meant to be just like each other we have always been meant to be out own expressions of self. All of our finger pringts are different for a reason. All of these differensces so to speak are to teach us the value of our own expression as you. It is completely acceptable to be a different idea of being human. In the idea of creation it is about uniqueness never has it been about samenenss. Be who you are as the expression of the divine self. Be pleased with that expression as it is you. The universe and us is the same idea one of unique. Join Liara and Steven for a wonder converstaion of life living and being. We are both life coaches to assist people in finding out their true nature, divine beings.

NaNoWriMo is quickly coming to an end. Even if we haven't met the deadline, Belinda and I will continue with our writings! Tonight we are lucky to speak with Virginia Carraway Stark! She has a diverse portfolio and has been writing professionally for nearly a decade, including screenplays, novels, articles, blogs, and travel journalism in her portfolio. She works with other writers, artists and poets to hone her talents and to offer encouragement and insight to others. She has been screened at Cannes Film Festival for her screenplay, “Blind Eye” which was followed by The Mystical Adventures of Billy Owens and two sequels after that. She was nominated for an Aurora Award for her creative writing in 2013.
Most of all, Virginia is an explorer. The world of writing and the research that goes with each new project is what keeps her excited about each new project. She approaches everything she does with enthusiasm, dedication and a love for the task at hand. This has also lead to her keen interest in the field of the paranormal. She has been a diligent student of all the mysteries this has lead to her becoming a Director at The National Paranormal Society. She and her husband also publish a paranormal journal called 'Outermost'.

1) We'll also give an update on the Laquan McDonald murder case. Officer Jason Van Dyke has been charged with 1st Degree Murder but why did it take 400 days when the shooting was on video? 2) Thursday is Thanksgiving. We'll deal with some of the history of the holiday that Dr. Ishakamusa Barashango called "Misgiving Day". 3) Former Oklahoma City Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw is allegedly intimidating witnesses during a Sex Crimes Trial where he is facing 36 counts of rape, sexual battery, etc. All of his 13 victims are African American Women. Maybe that's why there is not a lot of Mainstream Media coverage of this story. 4) This date in African American History.
