Race #5 last Sunday at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California left A LOT of people scratching their heads and asking questions. Did NASCAR and Brad Keselowski steal a race from returning driver Kurt Busch? We hope to catch up with Reid Spenser, the lead writer for NASCAR's wire service on the ground and track-side for a few minutes to get his impressions of some of these issues.

"Do not reject the Lord's discipline." (Proverbs 3:11) Just as our natural parents corrected us, our Lord corrects us as well! 1)Why does he corrects us? 2)Should our leaders/pastors confront us to correct us when we are wrong or should they stay out of our business? (Hebrews 13:17) 3)Which two of the six healthy confrontation results has been more important to you: (1) Clarification, (2) Change, (3) An improved relationship, (4) Purity, (5) Respect, and (6) Security? And Why? 4)Is it true that people want a leader/pastor who says, "When there's a problem I'll deal with it directly, promptly and respectfully?

Tonight's special guest is Carol Derry from Leicester, UK, a child abuse survivor and activist who was abused in almost every way, and by every generation of her own family. She struggles for more clarity even today. Carol writes that she's still having ".. repressed memories which have slowly been released as I became strong enough to face and work upon them. I hope that we can help others with such issues." As for her youth, she says, "I never truly knew that my childhood was so bad untill I had my mother tell me at 11 not to let my dad's father near me, as he had hurt my aunt when she was younger. She didn't tell me about her father abusing her till I was 17 claiming that she had forgotten." But it was too late for her, as she had already been sending Carol on solo holidays to her father. On her social networking profile she says, "I have taken an interest in children, families and communities and how abuse is looked at. I'm interested in mental health issues due to my own issues from childhood, and how I have had to go long periods of time without help from a trained professional as there is never enough resources, especially in child mental health services." She's currently half way through a program of cognitive behavioral therapy, which she hopes will enable her to seek more direct ways to educate people about the long term damage mentally and physically childhood abuse leaves behind if left unchallenged and corrected. "I would eventually like to be able to speak to people who are training to work with families about how toxic abuse in the family is," she writes, "and how long term the effects are for the child if the professionals around them do not intervene swiftly enough."

Today Shirley Gutkokwski will explore the team that is needed to support women so they can breasfeed their babies successfully. This means healthy babies and happy moms. Today's guest is Dr. Lawrence Kotlow is a 1972 graduate of SUNY Buffalo Dental School, and completed his pediatric dental residency at the Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio between 1972-1974. Since 1974 he has had a private practice in Albany, New York. He became Board Certified in Pediatric dentistry in 1980 , and is a Fellow in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
The topics we will cover today will include but not be limited to the breastfeeding team, why mothers need a team effort in getting their infants breastfeeding without problems for either the mom or the infants. The role of the pediatric dentist, IBCLC and cranial sacral therapist is developing the mother infant relationship during breastfeeding.
From the moment the baby is born, in a perfect world, someone on the delivery team should acess the baby for tongue or lip tie. These small issues can be easily corrected and often go unnoticed, these babies can have trouble sucking, latching on or even have failure to thrive which my be blamed on something unrelated, when infact a simple procedure can solve this issue. If a mother has an abundance of milk this may not be noticed at first and ultimately affect tooth and jaw devlopment.
Join us today to learn more about the world of breastfeeding and who on the team can support babies and moms.

The Justice Department on Wednesday called on Ferguson, Mo., to overhaul its criminal justice system, declaring that the city had engaged in so many constitutional violations that they could be corrected only by abandoning its entire approach to policing, retraining its employees and establishing new oversight. The report described a city that used its police and courts as moneymaking ventures, a place where officers stopped and handcuffed people without probable cause, hurled racial slurs, used stun guns without provocation, and treated anyone as suspicious merely for questioning police tactics.
“Seen in this context — amid a highly toxic environment, defined by mistrust and resentment, stoked by years of bad feelings, and spurred by illegal and misguided practices — it is not difficult to imagine how a single tragic incident set off the city of Ferguson like a powder keg,” AG Holder NYT

Today on Disabled Veteran Radio I will debate The Suicide Prevention Bill That President Obama just signed into Law. The Bill is named after Clay Hunt of Texas, a Marine Corps combat veteran who struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and who killed himself in March 2011 at the age of 28. I have the audio of President Obama at Todays signing of The Suicide Prevention Bill 19 minutes. My question I am 45 years of age I have had PTSD since January 1990 and no one has never ask me to speak minus the small Talk Radio Shows I get on as a caller but FOX, CNN, CBS, NBC , ABC nobody is calling. My current Veterans Administration Psychatrist states I should have been diganosised with PTSD on the date of discharge but she is afraid to come out and make this statement because she will be fired honest to GOD ! But is any Senator or Congress Person or even The President listening to my side of the story pertaining to PTSD or are they calling my current VA Psychatrist to a Congressional Hearings to testify. How she is trying to help the disabled veteran and if she says something that needs to be corrected like in my case The wrong misdiganosis of personality disorder that I was labeled with so that me and Thousands of other Disabled veterans would miss out on VA BEnefits for years. This is the same Dam thing they did to Veterans, when our own Governemnt gave them Agent Orange. The bureaucracy yes does defintley stinks. But I will try Former Govenor Charlie Crist in this broadcast. I will reach out to Chuck Harder and I invite your calls.
