Apologies for last week's show, apparently an ongoing issue with the technology, according to Blog Talk engineers, so please tune in and we'll do our best to provide a whole show. :)
Picking up where I left off this last week from Anxiety And Control; Moving On To A Different Perspective to this week.
I will be adding in the element of emotional unavailablity--yours, mine and ours; even when we think we're not, often we are very EU. Shed awareness on who you attract and the situations in your life, which are plain painful. Learn to stop.
See how anxiety can keep you in a vicious loop of not letting go of a painful situation, but where your decisions don't feel good.
Our emotional unavailability limits our choices, we hide rather than come out in full frontal openness. We end up in anxiety producing situations, whether it is a relationship, a situation or just figments in our own minds.
I will be sharing the tips on getting out of the anxiety loop (which were not shared last week) and into being in control of your emotional state, so you will feel a greater degree of availability, freedom and inner wisdom around your choices.
Who wouldn't want to get anxiety under control?
And who wouldn't want to experience life on a deeper, greater plain?
Want love, commitment and a life you feel good inside about? Then check out this show.

If you are a member of a narcissistic abusive family, you know how trying spending holidays together can be. Family members don't get along, relationships are strained, manipulations are rampant, anger lies just below the surface.
Each year you hope things will be different, but they never are. A time that should be joyous becomes a time filled with dread. The thought of attending another holiday celebration with your family makes you cringe. You know that the life will be drained out of you, and aren't sure if it is worth it.
The goal of today's show is to help you make decisions that are in your best interest. I will talk about how to survive family time together, discuss whether or not you are obligated to take part in the family festivities, and give advice on how to cope with all the related anxiety and guilt.
If you have any specific holiday questions you would like me to answer, please email them to me prior to November 24th at email@example.com I will be happy to answer them on the air.

The Empowered Self Series with Co-host Dr. Friedemann Schaub - How to Stay Calm and Centered in a World of Terror. The recent acts of terror in Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon and France have left many of us in shock and disbelief. Considering, that these are only a few of the most recent terrorist attacks, we wonder if they world is no longer safe. Some react with anger and the call to force and retaliation. Others with grief and a sense of hopelessness. But the majority of people feel more anxious and afraid. Vacation plans get cancelled, since traveling abroad seems too risky. People of different faith and culture are eyed with great suspicion. And some even call to shun the hundreds of thousands of desperate refugees that are fleeing from the terrorists themselves.
Of course it is understandable that fears and worries are running rampant these days. But isn’t this precisely the agenda of the terrorists – to make us feel small, powerless and unsafe? And isn’t the best way for us to defy those, who seem to have no regard for life, peace and freedom, to stay calm, centered and not let anxiety and panic dictate our lives.
This One Step - Older Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse
Wednesdays we talk about finding support after breaking our silence.
Polly Moore grew up with six siblings in Mobile, Alabama, but was only 8 years old when her father died of lung cancer. Soon two neighborhood boys began to molest her, friends of her older twin brothers. A couple of years later she was assaulted by another neighbor and later by her older brother. She was able to break away from the abuse at the age of twelve, but was by then deep in the darkness of isolation. Polly is now a mother and grandmother, and has lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years. She is contemplating returning to finish her final year at Western Carolina University where she majored in Accounting, and has become a devoted advocate for adult survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.
She began her organization, This One Step, to help older survivors of Child Sexual Abuse deal with the trama of being part of what she has named, "The Unknown Generation" A generation of survivors who had nowhere to go for support. In her late teens she began writing as a coping mechanism to deal with the PTSD. Her three books, "Cider Blocks and Oven Racks", "Billy Wayne's Christmas Train" and "The Unknown Generation" will be available in early 2016. She has written many southern short stories which have been published in different publications. She is now hosting her own blogtalk radio show Monday through Friday beginning at 6:00am.
If you have ever felt stuck—or like life was passing you by—this show is for you. Our Host, Kristine Burke, knows from first-hand experience what it feels like to struggle. And thanks to years of enduring those very struggles, today Kristine knows how to view struggles as the miracles they are. Using the guidelines she presents in her ebook, Loving Your Anxiety Attacks (and Other Worries) Away!, Kristine laughed her anxiety away—flipping her challenges into opportunities and her adversaries into teachers.
In this Show, Kristine invites callers to share their struggles, challenges, or adversaries and work through a simple process of seeing life's message(s).
Life is curious and wonderful to be and experience. Simple delights make life worth being and living. Involvement can be a test, struggle, or something wonderful and inspiring. There is beauty to see. There is happiness to feel along with feeling wonderful. Love only seeks to understand and accept. Light only seeks to to be wise and evemminded about. Stress can be eliminated along with anxiety, doubt, worry, and confusion. All anyone needs to do is feel good most of the time. Anything negative can be healed in five minutes or less. Welcome to my point of view as the slapology of Dougiie Slap.
A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder, usually defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation. The liberals have made every attempt to end debates by placing a derogatory label on conservatives or libertarians (i.e. homophobic, xenophobia, islamophobia), telling us we have a fear of homosexuals, Muslims and so on. Well, let’s turn the tide on these less-than-knowledgeable progressives. The truth is, the progressive left has a phobia; a fear of the responsibilities that come with being free. We will call this freedomphobia or freedomphobic. Tonight on the Fine and north Show we will discuss the frredomphobic left and the events of the week! CALL TO ACTION: People of GOD, if we put more time into "PRAYNG", then we do complaining and pointing fingers; GOD through us would bring forth healing and "COMPLETE RESTORATION". YES! What we are witnessing in our world today is factual and real; but I have learned through practice that the TRUTH of the infallible WORD of GOD "supersedes" ALL facts. Make a quality decision "right now" to be a part of the solution and to STOP perpetuating the problems. How shall we become a part of the solutions? Simple, through "PRAYER". Didn't' JESUS tell us that we ought to ALWAYS "PRAY" and not faint (Luke 18:1)? Are we not admonished (counseled) in (Philippians 4:6) not to be anxious (in anxiety, distress, fear or worry) about or over NOTHING, but in EVERYTHING to "PRAY" unto GOD? Are we not further encouraged to "PRAY" without ceasing (1st Thessalonians 5:17), exhorted (warned) to supplicate (petition on behalf of), "PRAY", intercede (reconcile/RESTORE) and to give thanks for ALL mankind (1st Timothy 2:1-3)? Are we not told to "PRAY" for one another so that we may be healed (James 5:16)? Do we not remember that GOD has promised in HIS WORD in (2nd Chronicles 7:14) that if we (HIS people), who are called by HIS name would humble ourselves (come out of arrogance and pride and lower ourselves before HIM), "PRAY", seek HIS face (not HS hand) and turn from our own wicked ways (of doing and thinking) that then and only then will HE hear (listen to us), forgive our sin and heal our land? The number 66 symbolizes the reduction of or the loss of faith to the Divine Plan of Almighty GOD. It is through "PRAYER" that the Divine Plan of Almighty GOD shall be "COMPLETELY RESTORED".
Brought to you by The American Public Safety Training Institute (TAPSTI) www.tapsti.org, this 2 hour session will review juvenile correctional counseling and rehabilitation within the prison system. From 1991 through to 2003, the number of juveniles housed in residential programs increased by 27 percent such that there were 96,000 juveniles across the country who were housed in residential programs (Snyder & Sickmund, 2006). Many of these had mental health issues including major depression, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. The juvenile justice system in this country is faced with the same challenges as our adult correctional system in serving youth who may have one or more mental health disorders. Using Albert Robert's work entitled "Correctional Counseling and Treatment" we will take a look at the assessment, classification, and treatment of juvenile offenders, risks of reoffending, and family inteventions.
