As we kick off the month of October we will be looking at the Master Mind Principle of Cooperation.
To guide us in this gaining clarity in this critical principle is David Long, Founder and CEO of MyEmployees, a 25 year-old firm in the Top 1% Worldwide in the Employee Engagement and Recognition industry. His firm specializes in helping managers build stronger, more engaging relationships with their team members, while linking the rewards and recognition program to the desired goals of the company.
David believes (and lives to his very core) what Zig Ziglar said was required to become truly successful in life. He said, “You can have ANYTHING you want in life IF you will FIRST help others get what THEY want!” As a result, David has touched untold lives through the years, including employees, clients, friends and family. We will touch on point shared in his new book - Built to Lead.
Mary E., and ArtSees Productions, celebrates Global Cooperation Day with an special interview with Bill Sosinsky CEO/Founder of the Energime Organization. Energime is a bottom-line solutions provider for businesses looking to lower their operating costs and create a more sustainable business model. Music compliments of Red Buffalo Heart. Michael Dimitri.
Bill Sosinsky has been a proponent of sustainable growth and renewable energy since the early 1970s. After academic work at the SUNY Binghamton School of business for undergraduate studies, and NYU graduate school, he started Environomic Solutions, an early version of Energime, in 1977. He ran that company until its dissolution in 1981 when it closed due to an immature market. During the 1980s he traveled the world working on documentary films, many of which dealt with the issues of unsustainable development and the improper use of natural resources. Later in that decade, Bill settled back in New York City where he started a construction and renovation company. 1996 saw a move to the Pacific Northwest for Bill and his family. There he developed and built single and multi-family residential communities, invested in real estate and worked as a teacher and mentor, educating new real estate agents and investors. Bill’s credits also include teaching at the Henry George School of Economics, working for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York City Bicentennial Corporation, NYPIRG, and composing and producing sound tracks for television and film. Returning to his green roots in 2005,

“Creating Cultures of Cooperation; Getting into the zone of Good Mental Fitness”Presented by Keith Miller
Interview to Keith Miller, PCC. We will explore:
1. History; what paradigm are we currently “managing” and how did we get here?
2. What Paradigm is possible for personal, business and global cooperation?
3. What techniques build the capacity for "resiliency", in order to be present with <~Tension~>?
Pasos (Steps) focuses on wellbeing at work, how to develop organizational cultures that promote results as well as personal welbeing, satisfaction and work/life balance. Thought leaders from all over the world share their experiences in a dialogue with Dr. Damian Goldvarg.
The very first thing that we bring to the table of relationship is ourselves, and along with that comes our ego. With our ego in play we tend to protect our own interests, often forestalling those of our partner. One of the keys to developing a cooperative relationship is communication. We always hear about how the lack of communication in relationship makes for difficult going, and there are more than enough folks fostering advice about how to better that communication. What we tend not to look at is why that communication falters in the first place.
It falters, in part, because we tell ourselves stories based on our assumptions, expectations and ideas about the way the world works. These assumptions, expectations and ideas form our model of the world. That model gives us our own unique and, not unpredictably selfish, perspective. This perspective is selfishness in its purest form; it stifles our ability to see things from another person's point of view, and almost demands the imposition of ego that can become so toxic.
Making clear, authentic statements about how we feel, what we're thinking or what we think you heard someone else say can help us get in front of that self-defeating storytelling.
Transparency - If you are prepared to say the words and ask the questions, you also need to be prepared to answer them. Cooperation conveys a level playing field, and that means no hidden agendas, no little deceptions, no little white lies and no sins of omission. Clarity is crucial because even the most subtle shift can quickly turn a playing field into a battlefield.

“No cause is left but the most ancient of all, the one, in fact, that from the beginning of our history has determined the very existence of politics, the cause of freedom versus tyranny.” Hanna Arendt
Freedom is the absence of external control. Since the only significant source of such control in our world is government, it seems appropriate to emphasize the power of creation through cooperation, because the nature of life is to grow, and as long as humans allow governments, which are corporations [legal fictions] to grow, individual liberties recede.
