  • Open Line Tuesday with Dr. Randy White

    in Christianity

On today’s program, your calls are priority. As time allows, we will also consider some more great Biblical and theological questions that have come in recently on the Randy White Ministries Discussion Group page on Facebook. Here are some of them:

Should women teach men (or mixed groups) in Bible study or Sunday school?
Does Psalm 37:4 mean that God will bless me with anything that I want?
How can we begin to evaluate church history—considering the prominent parts played by Roman Catholicism and the Reformers, neither of whom agree with us on theology?
Is atheism a more intelligent worldview than Christianity?
Should we be looking for a national revival to sweep through America?
Will believers continue to learn in eternity future?
Why do the secularists in our culture seem intent on lifting up Islam?
Should we sing secular songs as part of our worship services?
How do we evaluate contemporary worship courses?
Is it possible to find truth in the Bible that no one else has ever discovered before?
Since there were healings in the book of Acts, should we not expect to see them today?
How should we respond to the current wave of support for the transgender movement?

Shetaut Neter Thursday Evening Devotional Worship Program

    in Spirituality

Join Shems Ptah Maut Ankh and Shems Baket Asu Ra for our Thursday Ushet at Sunset. This is a reflection of the Myth of Ra and Aset when Ra says, "I am Khepera in the morning, and Ra at noonday, and Temu in the evening." Thus this evening worship program will pay homage to the Supreme Being in the form of Ra-Tem or Temu the setting sun. Hotep.

A more sure word of Prophecy

    in Christianity

In Revelation 14, men are called upon to worship the Creator; and the prophecy brings to view a class that, as the result of the threefold message, are keeping the commandments of God. One of these commandments points directly to God as the Creator. The fourth precept declares: “The seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: ... for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:10, 11). Concerning the Sabbath, the Lord says, further, that it is “a sign, ... that ye may know that I am the Lord your God” (Ezekiel 20:20). And the reason given is: “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed” (Exodus 31:17).... So long as the fact that He is our Creator continues to be a reason why we should worship Him, so long the Sabbath will continue as its sign and memorial. Had the Sabbath been universally kept, man’s thoughts and affections would have been led to the Creator as an object of reverence and worship, and there would never have been an idolater, an atheist, or an infidel. The keeping of the Sabbath is a sign of loyalty to the true God, “him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” It follows that the message which commands men to worship God and keep His commandments will especially call upon them to keep the fourth commandment (The Great Controversy, 436-438).
