    in Finance

    TODAY'S SPOTLIGHT:

HOME AFFORDABLE MODIFICATION PROGRAM GOVERNMENT DEBT RESTRUCTURING PROGRAMS QUALIFICATIONS WINNING STRATEGIIES KNOW YOUR RIGHTS ASSERT YOUR RIGHTS MHA HELP

    "the daily complaint"

Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.

We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!

We hope you enjoy the Show...

The Parker J Cole Show -- Double Agents in the Pews

    in Radio

We see it in spy movies all the time -- the gut-wrenching twist when the best friend, close relative or family member turns out to be the double agent the hero was looking for. The shock, the pain, the horror rifles through our hero as the one he or she loved has turned out to be the enemy.

But what if there are double agents right next to us in the pews? Every Sunday, we sit next to them, break bread with them, sing praises and all the while, they’re working for the Enemy.

In the spy movies, the hero is aware there may be a double agent within the organization. He watches diligently, searching for the clues, assessing his team members, his leader trying to determine who could it be. Yet in our churches, we're not as diligent. When the double agent enters it's often because we allowed the church doors open to all without using discernment to see if this so called brother and sister in Christ is in fact who they say they are.

Jesus warned us of this some time ago. Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." However one has to wonder if the Church has forgotten this. When strange doctrines, teachings, and liberties come into the church that seek to change the nature of God, revision the work of Christ, and other heinous things, we need to understand there are double agents in the Church.

How did they get there? That's what we're going to talk about today on the show with Pastor George McVey. You can join in the conversation by calling 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air. Or, you can download the WLUV Radio mobile app. Tune in!

IT'S OFFERING TIME IN THE KINGDOM!!!!!!!!!!!

    in Hip Hop Music

We are all familiar with the term "offering" but are we all familiar with what it really MEANS? If you are among the many of us that are not, then come and kick it in the "Kingdom" as we find out.  According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, The full Definition of "OFFERING" is

    1.  the act of one who offers

    2. something offered; especially :  a: sacrifice ceremonially offered as a part of worship.  b :  a contribution to the support of a church. c: something offered for sale or use

    3.  a course of instruction or study ........?

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:1-4)

022615 The Vince Anello Show - Open Mic

    in Politics

The frozen pipe issue is becoming a very hot item. For me it's starting to hit close to home because my neighbors waterlines froze up. My sister is without water and Grand Ave and Pine Ave are having problems.

At the coffee shop people just can't seem to figure out why a plan was not in place to address these issues

Not all frozen pipes can be attributed to recent road construction even if you consider the last decade. Neither the City nor the Water Board are in a position to assume responsibility or liability for all cold weather related water problems.

Some of the stories that I'm hearing, some related to price gouging, make me wonder why our city government and the Water Board haven't come up with a plan that not only addresses the issue but protects the consumer.

The Water Board should provide a list of competent, proven contractors with a set price. The first attempt should be without digging. It can be done by competent  people that know what they are doing.

People are talking about the proposed dog park at former 39th Street School site.

The Niagara Falls City Council is taking as survey to evaluate residents priorities.

Susan Davis, Physical Therapist for Animals at Joycare Onsite LLC

    in Radio

We already know that Dr. Doolittle was able to converse with animals, and I’m thinking that Susan Davis possesses the same gift. Susan is a NJ Licensed Physical Therapist, and these days her patients are typically 4-legged. The benefits of physical therapy for animals have been widely accepted in the veterinary community for many years, but is a relatively new field in the US. The goal of physical therapy for animals is to improve quality of life and decrease pain -- same as for humans. Although most veterinary practices offering physical therapy are geared toward canines, techniques used in this discipline can also be applied to horses, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents and other small animals. Susan has worked on many types of dogs from an Australian Cattle Dog to a Yorkshire Terrier. Recently she had an opportunity to do some rehab on a large pig (yes, a large pig) and we’ll learn what other animals Susan has helped out with some PT and her magic touch. In 2013, Susan authored and self-published the book Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation for Animals: A Guide for the Consumer, and she also writes guest articles for pet-related blogs on a monthly basis. Some conditions in animals that benefit from PT include arthritis, hip dysplasia, and spinal deformity. Susan will share how she changed focus as a PT and began her healing work with animals. She is a member of the International Association for Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. After the interview, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.
