Host Kriss "Cabin Goddess" Morton:
Constance Phillips Constance lives in Ohio with her husband, two ready-to-leave-the-nest children, and four canine kids. Her perfect fantasy vacation would involve hunting Dracula across Europe with her daughter, who also digs that kind of stuff. When she's not writing about fairies, shifters, vamps and guardian angels, she's working side-by-side with hubby in their hardwood flooring business.
She is actively involved in her local Romance Writers of America chapter (MVRWA) and the Southeast Michigan chapter of the United States Pony Club. When not writing or enjoying the outdoors, she loves reality television or can be found at a Rick Springfield concert (just look for the pink Converse high tops).

In order to save Bess from self-destruction, Harry Houdini puts his afterlife on the line by entering a wager with purgatory’s keeper. He gives Harry a younger face and body, and a new name: Erich Welch.
Bess clings to his promise to deliver a coded message from beyond the grave, determined to provide the bridge for him to cross, even if that means befriending her husband's sworn enemy.
Erich needs to help Bess over her loss and put her on the road to healing, but will any good come from resurrecting Harry?
Live from the Romantic Times Convention in New Orleans! Ana Blaze, Aria Kane, and Constance Phillips will be my guest authors tonight. Come listen to them read from their joint paranormal, magical anthology, One Lucky Night. (You might even hear about zombies and fairies.)

THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:
As the population of the United States becomes more diverse and globally more interdependent, it is important that we all become engaged as multicultural global citizens. Whether it's for gaining essential job & life skills or enhancing our contributions as international citizens, the importance of understanding and respecting cultural differences is becoming a global imperative. Multicultural travel plays an important role in understanding cultural differences. Multicultural travel provides leisure and education. It enhances the traveler’s knowledge of the histories, cultures, and contributions of diverse groups in our global society. Multicultural travel also promotes a higher quality of personal decision-making and critical thinking regarding issues of cultural pluralism. Multicultural tourism is the fastest growing segment in the travel industry. What is multicultural tourism, who actually travels and why is it important?
Welcome to another episode of Brain Injury Round Table. I am your host, Constance Miller, brain injury survivor of more than 30 years and Managing Director of Brain Injury Resource Center, located on the Internet at http://www.headinjury.com. At the suggestion of Mr. Tai Campbell, of Taken Back Our Communities Now, http://www.tbocn.org, tonight’s show will look into the development of heightened feeling states following brain injury. Some such heightened feelings take the form of disturbances in the autonomic nervous system. The resulting condition is known as “hyper-arousal” and describes the effect of injury on things such as heart rate and respiration. Another aspect of heightened feeling states is sometimes seen as psychic or extra sensory abilities and in many instances is seen as a gift. Others in this category might feel undone by the sudden onset of such strange reveries and might find themselves pre-occupied by feelings of uncertainty and anxiety.
It is seldom addressed by members of the profession called upon to make us whole, to take us from the point of being "patients" to being people again. Therefore, tonight we’re going to take matters into our own hands. We’ll kick it around, swap stories and delve into another of those taboo topics associated with brain injury.
Join us for another exciting and informative episode of Disability Roundtable. thanks to all our listeners for bringing our voices, to your home, your mobile device wherever you are all around the world. Additionally, I’d like to give a big thank you to this show’s sponsors: Martha Marcum, mother of a brain injury survivor and author of MARTHA'S FABLES and Gordon Johnson, attorney of TBI Law.com. Additionally, we look forward to bringing another sponsor Mia Marcum McCoy, brain injury survivor and author of a brain injury book that she will speak with us about on a future episode.
