Steve Dubin on Guerilla Marketing: Talking Business #5 with Ken Kraetzer

    in Marketing

Friday at 11 AM we will talk Guerilla Marketing with Steve Dubin, president of Plymouth, MA based PR Works.

Steve Dubin knows the “news” business. Starting his newspaper career by covering the Boston Celtics for the New Bedford Standard Times, Steve and Larry Bird shared rookie years. From there Steve progressed to editing and marketing positions in several publishing companies, including Mariner Newspapers.

Steve is the founding president of the South Shore Ad Club and founding director of The Leads Network, a business-to-business lead generation group. He is an active member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce’s communications committee, as well as the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation’s communication committee. He is on the steering committee of the Elderpreneur of the Year Program, which recognizes the innovations of age 55+ people and on the Board of Directors of the University of Massachusetts/Boston School of Nursing Friends.

He has presented seminars on various marketing topics for the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth; Metro South Chamber of Commerce; New England Healthcare Assembly; and South Shore Women’s Business Network.

Talking In Circles: Steve Byrnes Death, Kyle Busch Exemption, David Ragan's ride

    in Sports

On this episode of Talking In Circles we discuss the life and career of the late Steve Byrnes. Byrnes, the former NASCAR Broadcaster lost his life due to a battle with cancer on Tuesday.

Also NASCAR has said they are open to an exemption for injured driver Kyle Busch. Busch has been hurt since his opening week accident at Daytona International Speedway. Is this the right decision?

David Ragan appears to be headed to the No. 55 at Kansas Speedway in two weeks. Can Ragan make Chase in this ride?

Also NASCAR Whelen Modified Tommy Barrett, Jr was arrested and charged with a DUI. That led his Our Motorsports team to suspend him from the race at Stafford Speedway this weekend. Was this the right move by the team? Or another Kurt Busch situation.

Mike Wallace had triple bypass surgery last week meaning he will not race in next weekend's NASCAR Xfinity Series race. He will be replaced by his brother Kenny Wallace in the No.26 JGL Racing Toyota.

Johanna Long will run the No. 03 this weekend at Richmond. How will she do?

RCR Appeal. What's taking so long?

Richmond International Raceway, Toyota Owners 400. Our picks and what we expect to see.

Bill Martinez Live-Can Gays become Straight??

    in Politics

On Bill Martinez Live for today in the last half hour at 10:33 we will interview five ex gays/lesbians. Those who claim that one is "born that way" can try to tell that to Robin who was raped by a babysitter and who is outraged that states have banned reparative therapy. Chris Doyle, Jayson Graves and others will tell their stories.

Welcome to Bill Martinez Live, hosted by an unapologetic AMERICAN U.S. Marine of Mexican descent who knows why people come to America but demands that immigrants come through the front door and that the rule of law be respected. Bill Martinez Live waves just one flag and has no use for hyphenated hearts torn between the Stars and Stripes and some other foreign banner.

Republicans & Democrats have lost a grasp on life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for America. Bill Martinez Live helps us regain it. Listen in to the show to hear every facet of the issues but keep your eye on God and the exceptionalism to which he has urged on America and its people. Our nation is at a crossroads but remember your solemn birthright fellow Americans as "We the People".  Our regular guests include former New York Lt. Governor Betsy McCaughey; Steve Evans the Movie Guy; Samantha  Mills who features spectacularly touching stories from the internet; Kevin "Coach" Collins-a NY City retired Honor Legion cop with a doctorate in Public Administration and a post doctoral degree is BS detection and Jen Horn on cultural happenings!  Would YOU like to be a rapid fire guest? Contact my producer Bill McIntosh at 305-396-2806 and leave a message if he doesnt pick up or email a 30 word intro of yourself and send us your land and cell phone numbers (if you have both) to: ocasomedia@gmail.com
