Who Will Win Maryland's Congressional District 4?

    in Politics

Senator Barbara Mikulski announced she wouldn't be running for a sixth term as Senator for Maryland. Then Representative Donna Edwards (MD-District 4) announced she would run, along with Representative Chris Van Hollen (MD-District 8), for the Mikulski's Senate seat.  Whew! So who is going to represent Maryland's Congressional District 4 since Rep. Donna Edwards is running for the Mikulski's Senate seat? Former County Council Chair Ingrid Turner, MD State Delegates Jay Walker and Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk, Former PGCo States Attorney Glenn Ivey, and former Lt. Governor Anthony Brown have thrown their hats into the ring.  That's a lot of candidates. All that matters is who the voters who reside in Maryland’s District 4 are likely to vote for, but who exactly is that?  Prince George's County and Anne Arundel County Democrats, what say you? Republicans, who will you nominate?

Join PGC Blog Tuesday, April 7th at 7:30pm as Holden Wilen, award-winning investigative journalist and current managing editor of the Prince George's Sentinel newspaper, along with Neal Carter, Maryland political consultant, discuss who can win the Democratic Primary for this seat.  Could a Republican win the actually seat? When Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) postponed the vote to confirm Loretta Lynch as attorney general in order to break the filibuster of a human-trafficking bill, Senator Dick Durbin (D., Ill.) punished him by suggesting that the delay was motivated by racism. “Loretta Lynch, the first African-American woman nominated to be attorney general, is asked to sit in the back of the bus when it comes to the Senate calendar,” Durbin said on the Senate floor in March. McConnell didn’t flinch during the human trafficking fight, which Republicans ultimately won, but such accusations stung.

Suburban Republicans' assault on Milwaukee Public Schools.

    in Education

Last week Rep. Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield) and Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) decided that their vast experience as suburban Wisconsin legislators qualififed them to introduce a bill that would literally take away Milwaukee Public Schools from the people of Milwaukee.  Yes, they proposed a "public school take over bill."  These bills have been passed in many urban areas across the country and have been proven to simply be a private take over of urban poor and minority populated schools.  Later in the week it was announced that the bill was killed.  However, the movement to privatize urban public schools has been way too lucrative to just let die.  Instead of a bill, the Milwaukee School Take over Bill  has been simply slated to be passed as part of the state budget process—truly undermining the political and social capital of the citizens of Milwaukee.

Tonight's special episode will feature Milwaukee school board member, former teacher and editor of Rethinking Schools Larry Miller, Wisconsin Public Education Network's Heather DuBois Bourenane, and Angela McManaman, President of Parents for Public Schools-Milwaukee.

    W.A.R. - Weasels, Asses & Republicans

    in Politics Conservative

DC teems with Weasels and Asses using the Constitution to defend Obama and talk of equality, racism and when it is OK to shoot at cops, while they expand the police state, kill babies, institutionalize poverty and avert their eyes as their ‘dear leader’ bombs the shit out of the ‘brown’ people they pretend to care about. Then there are Republicans–champions of smaller government, lower taxes and free markets who control Congress and they are going to stand up for the Constitution. Well, except they don’t stand up when it permits POTUS to use his power to feign peace, they don’t lower taxes nor restore free markets, 2nd amendment or anything else that remotely represents liberty.

The Democrats blame the Republicans for an expanding empire overseas as Democratic presidents expand the empire overseas. The Republicans blame the Democrats for an expanding welfare state at home as they expand the welfare state. America splits along these ‘ideological’ divides and cheers and blames on queue for an expanding empire overseas AND an expanding welfare state at home.

Tyranny persists UNLESS liberty-loving people band together to restore Constitutional governance from your own neighborhood on up to DC.  Restore The Constitutional Militia of the Several States, sound money, free economies, religious and civil liberties as well as a foreign policy of non-interventionist defense; or watch the fascists in both parties push transnational agendas. Now is the last chance to stop those who perpetuate an empire abroad and a police state at home. To defeat the lawless hordes of Cultural Marxists, fascists, useful idiots and their fellow travelers especially the Democrat-socialists, first you MUST CRUSH the Neocon RINOs...for liberty!

Its ALL the republicans fault - Most violent cities have Dem rule!

    in Politics

Hr1  Cher says Amtrak train crash is the Republican's fault. Why do we give celebrities a platform for politics & current events?

50 people have been shot in Baltimore since Freddie Gray riots. They're out of control! And where's MSM coverage?

Do you know what 4 most violent US cities have in common? Homicides. Poverty. Broken families. Democrat leadership. The cycle is set and hard to break with those handicaps!

Freddie Gray acted the way he did because of lead poisoning, so it wasn't really his fault. The blame game.

Hr2   Robert Woodson asks, if all whites tomorrow were to move to Canada & Europe...how it would affect the black on black crime rate? Would blacks finally be free to succeed?

Woodson's organization goes into low-income communities and seeks out leaders and "moral mentors" to help solve the problems.

Woodson noted that government anti-poverty programs have made poor people a "commodity" for "a professional class of providers."

New York DMV makes $60 million a year by selling YOUR personal information.

Justice Scalia questions the 17th Amendment which changed the way Senators were selected. Appointed by governor vs. elected by the people.

Hr3   Justice Scalia explains the importance of following the Constitution. Even more important... no more SCOTUS appointments until after Obama is no longer President!

Michelle Obama's thin skin and sensitivity to satire. Get over it!

"The road won't be easy for folks like you and me." ~ MichelleObama talking racism like it's still 1860. Because blacks are still segregated, lynched? No! Why does she assume that EVERYONE hates black people?

    Immigration

    in Politics Conservative

On a special Memorial Day show for you, I'll be talking about a special topic- immigration. Why immigration?  Well, in looking at certain stories over the past few days, to me, and I know to many of you it's a key issue.  But what I wanted to focus on in particular is who's moving to the back of the line on immigration versus who should be moving to the back of the line and of course who they claim will be moving to the back of the line.  Who's getting left out in the cold and who's getting the short end of the stick?  It's certainly not who it should be.  I also wanted to talk a bit about the fast track trade bill or TPA bill that just passed the Senate this past week in a weird moment in which Obama was for it, but so were most Republicans, while most Democrats were against it.  What's that have to do with immigration?  Well, if you don't know, you'll have to listen to find out.  It's at 4:30 today Eastern time, and you can listen on the archives after that.
