EDWEB.NET &THE CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR FOUNDATION
Learning Bird presents Lisa Schmucki, Edweb founder and her very special guest, Cathy Ehlers-Metcalf , VP of Education for the Foundation whose dad won the Medal in WW2. Should be a great show.
Good morning, Today on The Meter we will cover this past week's election results. In Virginia, Republicans swept to victories across the Commonwealth. The GOP holds the highly contested State Senate as not one sitting Republican lost. In Kentucky, Conservative Matt Bevin was elected governor, on a campaign pledge to kill Obamacare. Serving along side Governor-elect Bevin is Janean Hampton, the state's first ever black female Lieutenant governor. Hampton, a long to e conservative and TEA Party activist routed her democratic opponent by 10%. Have you heard this in the media? Last night, Republican front runner Donald Trump hosted Saturday Night Live amidst protests from Hispanic Groups. How did Trump do? Hillary Clinton has announced that she will support easier access to marijuana just as Ohioians reject the drug's legalization by a 2-1 margin. In other news, it now looks like the Russian airliner was brought down by a bomb. The U.S. says its 99.9% certain. Please join us as 9 AM at www.blogtalkradio.com/themeter. I am so sick of hearing Republicans/conservatives ask me how do we get "into" the Black community, like there some combination lock on the gates of the hood. Time and time they come at me with "The Black Church" and I answer back it is the "Black School" they need to look at. Holding Black children hostage in failing failing school is tatmount to slavery! Forcing them to work on the plantation that benefit only book publishers and education unions. I hope that someone on the Republican debate mentions education tomorrow night.
Well, it's ON.
The long anticipated hearings on the Benghazi, Libya tragedy, where 4 Americans, including Ambassador Stevens, were murdered.
Central to this and previous Congressional sessions, are the partisan perspectives from ether side of the political aisle; the GOP, who control both Houses, feel that Mrs. Clinton has not been forthright, in explaining how the 4 Americans were seemingly left to fend for themselves, against hostile insurgents, while the Democrats have decried the hearings as tantamount to a political witch-hunt, timed as a means to derail her run for the presidency.
In the meantime, with even an objective observation of the events, one cannot help but notice the utter contempt and defensiveness on the part of Mrs. Cinton.
Join us this Saturday, as we review the 11-hour hearing, which some have suggested, only serves to help Mrs. Clinton, in her (scripted?) role as "victim", and as such, ordained to be coronated as the next president of the United States, in 2017?
Sit back, relax, and listen to our rebroadcast of this important Episode.

My Interview with Colorado GOP Congressional Candidate Casper Stockham
In this episode we discuss Hillary Clinton and the Republican detestation of her. In addition, we discuss the problems we think Democrats have as a party and the insignificance of the democratic candidates this election cycle. Additionally, we also discuss the Republican candidates, the conservative agenda, and the likelihood of candidates who can win the Republican nomination. Finally, we discuss the obnoxious positions by Republicans and their hypocrisy.
Tonight we talk about the relationship of Donald Trump and the rest of the Republican candidates. We are seeing Trump walk through the door that over-promising Rpublicans seeking office have created. The bombastic Trump would be hard enough to deal with but some of his over zealous supporters are becoming impossible frankly.
Tonight, we take a peek into the polls and see what they all say as opposed to just the ones main stream media forces on us.
Good evening, tomorrow morning on The Meter we will discuss the latest republican primary square off, the third debate between the 15 candidates. Many viewers questioned the host network CNBC, intentions of a fair and honest debate as topics varied from fantasy football to the participants personalities. Who came out on top and who disappointed their followers? On the democratic side the primary now looks like a coronation as Hillary Clinton is pulling away. Please join the discussion at 9:00 AM. The Maryland Young Republicans recently travelled to Chicago for the 2015 Young Republican National Convention. The executive board of the MDYR's will offer a recap of the convention and share some exciting news about the future.
ou know what got me started. you know how i came by this idea of becoming President – too many of our soldiers were being killed in IRAQ. Why even 1 killed by & with careless, faulty un-smart missions not worth a damm – not by my standards. i care and I don’t put people in danger or our military in danger. That is why i am a better Commander-In-Chief. And the same character credentials extend into the WHITE HOUSE and the PRESIDENCY. i wish every one a good Thanksgiving wknd. i know that not everyone is having one – and that has to change in favor of more. our President was right in calling out the Chicago shooting and 16 useless bullets. But then he compliments Chicago officials with keeping the city peaceful. No, Chicago officials should be called upon to do more and our President should not make even statements to pacify all parties. Chicago Police is wrong for having a killer in their midst. The putrid gall of the officer saying he was in fear if his life. He had others officers around him. He could have retreated. Any court that allows a defense of that should be impeached. we have let our courts bankrupt with such cowardly, lying pleas of defense. How is a prone man on the ground a threat to you, already with 2 bullets in him. Crap. we have a crappy officer and he and his fellow officers should be charged with a host of crimes - IF I were President. bwell c2it i saw Ice Sculpturing Christmas – very moving & inspirational and true to life for some of us. . i learned something, always learning – like a sponge that picks up and releases – doing good things. c2
