"I am a world traveling Forensic Psychotherapist, a perpetual student of life. A trauma expert with global experience, a clinical psychology doctoral candidate, my childhood was in a Serbian immigrant family. My mother survived concentration camps, WWII. I vowed as a young child to not say "never again," as did my parents, I knew I wanted to say "enough!", no more wars, hatreds and conflicts.
My education and life experiences are to move into evolving from catastrophic intergenerational trauma since the scarring traumatic memories are for surviving not thriving. My childhood in the North side of Chicago, I took to Serbian folk dancing (kolos) with a passion exposing me to female humanities and the social structure and symbolism of past and present South Slavic societies. Called oral memory traditions are millennium aged containing female wisdom handed down through the ages.
I spent a year in Afghanistan as a social scientist and recently for the International Criminal Court went to the Congo DRC again in August 2014 returning right at the beginning of the Ebola outbreak."

This week our guest is British author and crypozoological investigator/researcher Adam Davies. Adam has been all over the world investigating and researching a wide array of cryptids. From the Orang Pendek in Sumatra, the Almasty is Russia, the Death Worm of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, the Mokele Mbembe in the Congo of Africa, the Seljord Serpent in Norway, the Yeti in Nepal, the Mande Burung in India, the Yeren in China, and most recently the Sasquatch of North America. He has appeared on numerous television programs and channels including The National Geographic Channel’s specials entitled Russian Bigfoot and Ape-Man, Animal Planet’s Binding Bigfoot episode titled Indonesia’s Little Bigfoot, and History Channel’s Monster Quest episodes; The Real Hobbit, The Abominable Snowman, and China’s Wildman.
Adam’s recently released book titled Manbeasts: A Personal Investigation details his reactions and situations that he has found himself in while investigating. It also goes into detail about his expedition and experiences with Dr. Brian Sykes which he previously could not publically speak about prior to Sykes study being published. We’ll be discussing the book, the accounts of his newest experiences, and the details therein in. It’s sure to be an interesting and informative conversation so don’t miss it.
I remember distinctly, as I heard her praying to God, I thought if I looked up I would see Him sitting next to her on her worn couch. This was not just her God, but also her best friend. Her dearest companion who had seen her through a lifetime of suffering and prejudice. As her intimate conversation continued, I grew afraid, because I knew when she finished, I was expected to share with her a message about Jesus, but I knew that she really "knew" him, while I may only know about him. I wanted that kind of intimacy she shared with her Creator, but for me God was distant and demanding.
This simple experience didn't square with what I had been taught. Here was a non-Mormon who knew God in a way I could only imagine. It opened the door for me to begin a conscious and careful re-examination of my faith. In other equally important moments, Christians shared with me how Jesus Christ has changed their lives, healed their marriages, and delivered them from drug addictions. I could have argued how to interpret a particular New Testament verse for hours, but I could never argue with them about how the Lord had touched and transformed their lives. Thirdly, Christians took the time to point out verses in the Bible that seemed to clearly contradict Mormon teaching.
For example, Mormons believe in the existence of many gods in the universe, the god of this world being one among many. But the Word of God clearly proclaims there are no gods but the God revealed in Divine Revelation, He is the first and the last (Isa 44:6, 24; 45:5, 18). I heard the scriptural maneuverings that fellow Mormons used to deny the meaning of these verses, but for me they were clearly confirming monotheism.

Local Law 87 New York City - http://www.CarletonEC.com - LL87 NYC: CEC Shares Local Law 87 Tips for the Winter. Carleton Energy Consulting Specializes in Energy Auditing, Management, Online Boiler Management and much more, 10025, 10002, 10029, 10009
With winter approaching, and temperatures dropping quickly, building managers need to start thinking about how Local Law 87 in New York City will impact them.
Compliance with the law is mandatory, and reducing carbon footprint and energy waste for cost savings is a smart strategy. Here is some important information on Local Law 87:
For many property owners, understanding Local Law 87 can be a challenge. The law is complex and even though it can be accessed online at the NYC Green Building & Energy Efficiency Website, having the text does not ensure compliance.
According to the law, all single structures 50,000 square feet or more and multiple buildings 100,000 square feet or more must comply. The law is a bit different concerning condominium units and the single tax lot description does not apply when there is a single board of managers.
Energy evaluation and assessment typically takes up to 3 or 4 weeks to complete. And retro-fitting may takes months. However, it’s a smart strategy to begin the process immediately to secure the quickest return on investment.
