Meet Patty Kogutek, author of “A Change of Habit: A Spiritual journey from sister Mary Kateri to Sister Mary Vodka” has helped thousands cure their anxiety, living “guilt-free”. Living as a Catholic nun for 7 years, and working her way through a 12 year failed marriage, Patty gathered “7 Secrets to Guilt-Free Living” that gave her the courage and the permission to finally follow her heart putting the expectation of others aside.
Although Patty has earned her doctorate degree in Educational Administration from the University of Southern California, she has learned her most valuable lessons through the “school of hard knocks” teaching her how to effectively protect her own happiness, living life on her own terms. You don’t have to be a former nun to have your happiness slip away.
Patty works with “women at risk” who try to please everyone, who have a difficult time saying “no”, and feel that they have to juggle life’s stresses taking care of everyone but themselves.
When everything starts changing you may need to change everything. How do you navigate your way through the changes you've ask for?
Have you ever found yourself in the middle of chaos only to realize that perhaps the very chaos is evidence that change is arriving at your doorstep... the change you've been asking for?
Why is it that we so often look at our current experiences and say, "I wanted change but not that!"
Is it possible that even what appear to be disruptions can reveal valuable information about ourselves? Highly likely!
Today Delrae J Bantz, of The Life Learning Center of Self, will talk about walking through changes even when they look like the exact opposite of what we need most.

Are your child's teachers and social services telling lies against you and your child and you want nothing to do with them?
Are you worried and feel your child would do better being schooled at home?

The decision could send a large number of prisoners home and back into our neighborhoods.
The Michigan Parole Board would then be pressured into granting parole for more prisoners who have served and who are deemed less likely to cause reputable harm to others upon release.
The new policy is a change in many politicians’ attitude towards curbing crime in the state. The 1980s and 1990s saw a rise in funding for prisons and an increase in law enforcement to address crime and bolster the now current mammoth prison system.
Gov. Rock Snyder is in support of the bill despite push back from Attorney General Bill Schuette and law enforcement officials. The decision was 67-39.
Many attribute the new policy to the uncontrollable increase in funding of the prison system that is costing the state so much money. The state is facing a need for funding to address other pressing public matters such as roads and education.
The cost of the state prison system is now estimated at $2 billion with more than 43,000 inmates. The new bill is expected to save the state $75 million annually during the next five to 10 years.
