Overcoming Your Fears to Follow Your Calling ~ Lisa‭ ‬Ulshafer

    in Spirituality

Have you ever kept from sharing your spiritual journey or gifts from fear that you may be judged? Who we are and what we are here to do is much larger and more important than our temptation to play it safe from fear of being judged or rejected by society. Too many play it safe, being caught up in fear and insecurity, and are unwilling to stand in their truth. We are often too busy trying to please others or worrying about what others think of us.It isn’t serving anyone for us to do so.We each need to remove our protective shell and reach deep within to connect with our spirit to discover who we are and realize our spiritual purpose.

Lisa Ulshafer graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology. She founded her company Empowered Living after becoming certified as a Transformational Life Coach in 2006. Lisa is also an author, professional speaker, and spiritual teacher. She assists people in freeing themselves from negativity, limiting beliefs, and self-sabotaging behaviors.

Lisa’s transformational path also led to the discovery of her connection to the Angelic Realm. To Lisa’s surprise, she learned that she was an incarnated angel in 2006. Six years later, this information was confirmed with much more detail and her book, "Journey with an Angel" was born. Lisa continues to expand and share her awareness and understanding of angels and how to reconnect to these powerful and loving beings.

TREATMENT and RECOVERY: The Therapeutic Community (TC)

    in Self Help

Show Topic:  The everyday goals of the TC are compassion, achievement, discipline, and accountability / responsibility achieved through community life based on a social learning model, and created in formal and informal settings. The beliefs that are essential to the TC are that a person can change, and that a group can foster this change.  The individual must at some point take responsibility, but going through the motions is ok as a stopgap measure until the beliefs are integrated. We'll discuss the five core concepts of the TC and the many tools used to facilitate them.

Forgiving People in the Community so that Healing can Occur

    in Self Help

There are people are doing harming to their own citizens including the police with electronic weapons, electromagnetic radiation, drones,
    They should
Prophetess Letitia Peters states, "In my Love Campaign, I state how I love America, but how I hate its sin, pride & arrogance. With God's help, I will shine the light on the darkness, which is overtaking America & other nations. I have been praying Psalm 35 for our enemies. "

Workforce Partners: The VA's Community Employment Services for Homeless Vets

    in Jobs

    Tuesday, May 26, 2015  | 1:00 PM EDT

The VA's Homeless Veterans Community Employment Services (HVCES) program helps homeless veterans re-enter the workforce and is a valuable community partner for workforce development organizations.

The Veterans Health Administration's Homeless Veteran Community Employment Services program provides wraparound services to Veterans exiting homelessness that enable them to successfully connect with businesses and return to employment. "This unique population is highly motivated and actually has a varied skill set from which employers can benefit," shared Dr. Carma Heitzmann, Director of VA's HVCES program. "Getting formerly homeless veterans into gainful employment and supporting them during that critical first year back in the labor force increases their success in both the workforce and in maintaining their housing status."  In this Workforce Central radio show from the National Association of Workforce Boards, President/CEO Ron Painter interviews Dr. Heitzmann to share the details of the HVCES program and how workforce development organizations can form partnerships and engage locally assigned Community Employment Coordinators to successfully place formerly homeless veterans into employment. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about this valuable resource available to your region.
