    Support within the Black Community

    in Entertainment

The wait is OVER….. The Dymonds Radio Show Premiere is tonight!

Topic of the Night is an open discussion about supporting black people when it counts.

For those new to the show let me explain what the Dymonds Radio Show is about….

The reason the Dymonds Radio Show was created is because we wanted to create a platform for young black people where we could enlighten, educate, empower and entertain our people. The purpose of this show is to give people a voice and a chance to express their opinions or concerns regarding the black community. So many black people feel as if they are not being heard and that their opinion doesnt matter but that is WRONG. I want young black people to feel unapolgetically black on a daily.

Tune into the show tonight as we kick back and enjoy our Friday night with a update on all great things the Dymonds has in store for our community.

Call into the show @ (646) 716-8991 and press 1 to speak with the host

Longtime member of Gospel group, The Pace Sisters. Featured in Tyler Perry's What's Done In The Dark (Nurse Nancy) and Robert Townsend's Musical Theatre of Hope (Sparrow Sisters Reunion). I’ve been in the music industry for 20 years and in the arts (Urban Theater) for about 15 years.  I learned early on that I was my own walking/traveling business. So with my experience along with the influence of my mentor Donald Lawrence, I’m learning that it’s not just about having a professional image before people, but it’s important that every aspect of you, your life, your business – be legitimate and professional.  I also have future aspirations to mount my own theatrical production, but during this chapter of my life, L. Pace Entertainment, LLC is about being smart in this business of music.  I don’t want to do what I do out of necessity, but simply because I love to do it.

    Relationships & Social Media

    in Culture

When we think about social media, do we ever consider the impact it has on relationships? Whether it be perosnal, business, professional, work etc. What impact does social media have or has on any relationship you had or currently had? When I think about social media I look at it as an outlet for people to share their views and opinions on different topics. It's a way for friends and family to stay connected with one another. Social media has given the entrepreneur an opportunity to reach potential customers.

Does social media reveal who people really are or does it hide it? Has social media turned us into zombies who have lost their identity? Do we look for validation from others or affirmation? How often do you use social media and for what reason? Can people in relationships be friends with each other? Why or why not? Join my co-host and myself as we address the issue of social media and its impact it has on relationships. #DWD
