What is going on with the negative commenting around the web? Is there a solution? Are typed words the new bullets we must dodge living on the Wild Wild Web? If you run a website, use social media, or comment on others' sites, then join me and my guest, Staci Price Kresser, author of The Mom Squad articles on Here We Are with Luci, and social media consultant, as we discuss her disturbing experience and how we can be part of the solution.
If you have ever heard any of the following comments as a Black person from anyone who is White, you'll fully understand the total frustration that comes with hearing something from someone who makes an attempt to minimize the effects of your personal obstacles that are unique to someone who comes in the packaging of one who is Black:
GET OVER IT! SLAVERY WAS ABOLISHED A LONG TIME AGO!
What are YOU crying about? You have Affirmative Action and we have reverse racism!
I pulled myself up by the bootstraps, you can do the same thing too just like anyone else!
You have a Black President, racism is over!
The Koreans in your very neighborhoods are making a killing at the bank! Why can't you people do the same?
I believe that this list of asinine comments could go on into infinity, but many who make them are truly ignorant to the realities of moving about this earth in skin that possesses a high melanin count.
Many will also swear that there is absolutely no systematic effort to abort the advancement of Black people in America as they will point to the few success stories that have been allowed to slip through the cracks of oppression.
This type of mentality will "color" the perceptions of the so called Mainstream Americans in every dealing that they have with us in a way that is truly destructive to our well being.
It's a counterproductive mentality that is felt by all no matter what level one is on as far as their achievements in education, career, pedigree or status. Whther one earns six or seven figures, it is a dynamic that every Black person has encountered at one point or another in their journey here on American soil and Pastor Damon Richardson will offer a deeper insight to counteract those claims that are based in ignorance!
Lib media claim Stacey Dash is making racist comments on FoxNews. She's black how can she be making racist comments?

Spike Lee had some very straightforward words to say the other day about those who feel that we live in a Post-Racial America and that everything is moving forward between the races simply because there is now a Black President in the White House.
I personally have to say that I agree 100% with what Spike had to say and I also had a few of my own words that I wanted to add to the conversation.
Listen in and leave your comments so that the healthy and very much necessary dialogue can continue on a topic that many are in denial about and bury their heads in the sand when confronted with it.

Would you work with Danny Ferry after hearing the comments that were made?
Does Danny Ferry's accomplishments overrule what he has done?
Do you think Adam Silver should get involved? (even though Bruce Levenson is selling his controlling share?)
Will the players and fans be able to overcome this situation?
Do you think that this is the first time the Atlanta Hawks organization is experiencing this situation or was this the first time one of the owners spoke up about the racist comments?
Should Danny Ferry lose his job?
How should the Atlanta Hawks' players handle the situation?
Atlanta's WSB-TV reported Monday that Hawks minority owner Michael Gearon wrote a letter to Levenson calling for Ferry's resignation or firing. Gearon's letter, which is dated June 12 and can be read here, included an account of Ferry's comment about Luol Deng, an unrestricted free agent at the time who was born in South Sudan.
With respect to one potential free agent, a highly-regarded African-American player and humanitarian, Ferry talked about the player's good points, and then went on to describe his negatives, stating that he "has a little African in him. Not in a bad way, but he's like a guy who would have a nice store out front but sell you counterfeit stuff out of the back." Ferry completed the racial slur by describing the player (and impliedly, all persons of African descent) as a two-faced liar and cheat.
We were appalled that anyone would make such a racist slur under any circumstance, much less the GM of an NBA franchise on a major conference call. One of us can be heard on the tape reacting with astonishment. Our franchise has a long history of racial diversity and inclusion that reflects the makeup of our great city. Ferry's comments were so far out of bounds that we are concerned that he has put the entire franchise in jeopardy.
For his part, Johnson said, referring to a disturbing racially tinged conversation Sterling was said to have had with a female friend that was made public by the gossip website TMZ, “If the reports are true, there needs to be strong and swift action taken.”

Robert Brewer aka "Football Rob" weighs in on the controversial statements made by former Super Bowl champion head coach Tony Dungy towards St. Louis Rams defensive end Michael Sam. According to Tampa Tribune reporter Ira Kaufman, Dungy stated that he would not have drafted Michael Sam due to the distraction he may cause to a team because of his sexual orientation. Dungy later released a statement to further clarify his comments.
Frequent guest contributor Gary "Kool" Ayd of MediaAidEntertainment.com also stops by to discuss this touchy situation.
My podcast is back after a near five-year hiatus! It was time to make a return after hearing about the comments made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who asked his girlfriend to not bring any black people to Clippers games. My reaction to the comments, and what the NBA should do from here.
