Avionne Akanbi is an animator, writer and comic artist from Western New York. Akanbi has had a die hard obsession with drawing since the third grade, which would sometimes get her into trouble during math class. In 1994, she decided to focus on her animation and storytelling upon her acceptance to Howard University. "Appetite" is series of ill mannered comics from Avionne Akanbi's short film series which is now in the film festival circuit. Appetite comics is series of strips posted on Google Plus every Monday and Friday. The comic introduce the world of Temilola Jenkins and her peers, a group of precocious 7 year olds that aren’t afraid to ask one of the most important questions in life…“Why?”when it comes to social quirks.

Marnie Galloway is a comic artist and illustrator working in Chicago, Illinois. Her three-part wordless comic series "In the Sounds and Seas" won a Xeric Grant, was nominated for the LA Times Book Prize for Best Graphic Novel and made the Notable Comics list in Best American Comics. She is a co-organizer of Chicago Alternative Comics Expo and a co-host of the biweekly panel podcast Image Plus Text with cartoonist Sam Sharpe. Her illustration and comics clients include 826CHI, Saveur Magazine, Cricket Magazine and Chicago Zine Fest.
Nell Minow, the famous Movie Mom, drops by to discuss her exciting Comic-Con adventures as well as the new Minions film, and A.J. Hakari, aka the Mad Movie Man, joins in the fun as co-host. Nell is one of the most respected film critics working today. Her Movie Mom website just celebrated its 20th Anniversary.
