Want to know how the Veterans Affairs does it's math? Baser will explain it and some other interesting things that the veteran can do.
VA Service Connected Ratings Disability Calculator
Combined Ratings Source: Veterans Affairs
If VA finds that a Veteran has multiple disabilities, VA uses the Combined Ratings Table to calculate a combined disability rating. Disability ratings are not additive, meaning that if a Veteran has one disability rated 60% and a second disability 20%, the combined rating is not 80%. This is because subsequent disability ratings are applied to an already disabled Veteran, so the 20% disability is applied to a Veteran who is already 60% disabled. Below you will find the steps VA takes to combine ratings for more than one disability and examples using the Combined Ratings Table to illustrate how combined ratings are calculated. This Friday's Don and Doug will update some of the Ebola capers, including instances where bureaucratic bumblings triggered unnecessary concern and even panic. Ebola's bad enough, but it seems big government can make it worse.
We'll talk mid-term elections. We already see Democrats making excuses for losing the midterms. We'll dig into some of it. And did you notice that suspiciously timed leak from the DOJ on the ichael Brown case last week?
In late 2013, we warned 2014 would be a year rocked by bad news and hard hits, it would be a year with events far uglier than most could imagine. Guess what? There's still two months to go in 2014, and there's potential for 2015 to be even worse. We'll share some of the dots we've connected to create this forecast.
Back in 2012, we said many a time it was a good time to stock up on ammo. That December, inventories dried up, and some folks did without for a year or more. How many folks learned their lesson? Is it a good time to buy now?
Sometimes we hate being right, because what we see ahead is more unraveling of America. On the other hand, we'd be remiss to sit in silence. Mainstream media may indeed see much of what we see coming... but MSM makes a point of NOT telling you darker days lie ahead. It might dampen their ratings.
Kelly Westlund grew up in a military family and spent much of her life in the southern part of the country. She settled in northern Wisconsin after earning her degree in Peace, Conflict, and Global Studies from Northland College in Ashland.
She went on to work with a local nonprofit organization, the Alliance for Sustainability, where her efforts were focused on sustainable community and economic development.
As a small business owner, Kelly has spent the last three years working with the Bayfield Regional Food Producers Cooperative. Her work focused on building a strong local food system through farm-to-table events, community supported agriculture, wholesale marketing and distribution, and organizational efficiencies. Kelly's work helped area farmers focus on what they do best while building a food system that can support family farms for generations to come.
Kelly was endorsed by the Progressive Change Campaign on the day she announced. Kelly is also a member of the Young Elected Officials Network and the first graduate of Emerge Wisconsin to seek a federal office.
