A total of 11 East Central University football players have been honored by the Great American Conference for the 2014 season. Three were named to the All-GAC First Team, two to the Second Team and six to the Honorable Mention Team. One of the players' that landed honorable mention team accolades was sophomore senior Qumain Black.

2015 NFL Draft Prospect
Michael Burton an invitee to the NFL Scouting Combine is projected to play fullback but more athletic than meets the eye.
Burton is currently training at Parabolic where he is getting bigger, stronger and faster. The former Rutgers standout proved to NFL Scouts he is more athletic than orginally thought after performing him NFL combine workouts.

Keontae Hollis is one of the unknown defensive linemen in this up-coming draft which makes him the perfect guest for the College2Pro.com Players' Platform Show. A transfer to Akron he quickly established himself in the MAC and on the Zips defensive interior. He is now eagerly awaiting his March 10th Pro Day in Akron to showcase his athleticism in front of the NFL Scout on hand.

Competed at Iowa Central CC during the 2012 season (sophomore) ... credited with 67 tackles, including 33 solo stops ... responsible for seven sacks (24 yards) and nine tackles for loss ... forced one fumble and recovered one fumble ... spent his freshman season (2011) of eligibility at Grand Rapids CC ... tallied three tackles ... had 0.5 sacks and one tackle for a loss.
RASHEED BAILEY, DELAWARE VALLEY, WR
NFL DRAFT PROSPECT
Delaware Valley receiver Rasheed Bailey is the true definition of a small-school NFL Draft Prospect. Standing at 6’2 and 205-pounds he led the team with 80 catches, for a incredible 1,707 yards and 19 touchdowns. Not many times is a D3 prospect considered such a legit NFL prospect.
In 2013, he started all 11 games and earned a spot on the all-MAC first team and led the Aggies with 51 catches for 977 yards and eight touchdowns. He shattered those numbers in 2014 and once again earned the 2014 All-Middle Atlantic Football Team and named MAC Offensive Player of the Year.

The NFL sized quarterback with all the tools is now embarking on his path towards the NFL. His combination of arm strength and pocket awareness are two things that standout about the Hampden-Sydney standout.

Justin Hardy is one of the most prolific receivers available in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is not the oversized Calvin Johnson guy, but a smaller pinpoint route runner who finished number #1 at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 6.63 3-cone drill (one of the biggest drills for WR).
He finished his career at East Carolina 387 catches for 4,541 yards and 35 touchdowns. Hardy went on to won the Burlsworth Trophy as the nation’s best former walk-on.
He excelled at the Senior Bowl and continued his postive trend up NFL Draft boards at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Sacred Heart Defensive Back J.D. Roussel Named to AP All-American Football Team and set a school record at Sacred Heart with 17 career interceptions. He finished with five in 2014 along with 41 tackles.
