    Using Crowdfunding to Raise Money.

    in Entrepreneur

As the world has become more hip to its possibilities, crowdfunding has started to be utilized by anyone and everyone who has a wish or need to ask others to support it -- kids who want to fund their cross-country road trip, medical patients looking for help with treatment costs, and so on.

There are numerous situations where a crowdfunding effort might work, namely where a nonprofit: has a particular, tangible goal in mind — a new piece of equipment, a trip to a project site, medical care for one individual, or production of a film; or a time-delimited concept around which to fundraise, such as a matching grant or the birthday of a celebrity supporter who makes a personal request for donations can confidently predict that the goal is sufficiently exciting, moving, or fun that existing supporters and social media contacts will tell their friends about it and they, despite knowing little to nothing about the organization, will be moved to pitch in has the skills to present the idea in an attractive way, preferably complete with photos, graphics, and video, and has loyal supporters who will create tangential pages connected to the nonprofit’s master page (as is allowed on some sites), on which they ask friends and connections to give.

Community crowdfunding is on the rise. Imagine joining a community and everyone helping each other to acheive their goal. There is one that is taking crowdfunders by storm. Help Fund You check it out to get you crowdfunding started today.

  • Mindfulness Based Practices for Well Being & Chronic Illness ~ Dr. Berkelhammer

    in Self Help

Dr. Berkelhammer is the author of "In Your Own Hands: New Hope For People With Chronic Medical Conditions ~ Mindfulness Based Practices for Mastery and Well  Being"  which serves as a guide to help those living with chronic illness, as well as their caregivers, learn to live with conscious intention to maximize health and wellbeing.

Anyone can benefit from listening to this show as he will reveal the benefits of Mindfulness, Gratitude, How to Follow Your Personal Values, and much more...

Dr. Larry Berkelhammer has lived with several chronic medical conditions since childhood. For decades he endured the frustration of not knowing the causes of his physical problems. Then, well into adulthood, he was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases and a primary immunodeficiency disease. At the same time, he was told there were no known cures for any of them and that treatment for some would make others worse. A long-time mindfulness practitioner faced with this reality, Dr. Berkelhammer became curious about what practical steps he and others could to do improve health and well-being. He trained with several world leaders in psychooncology, psychophysiology, and psychoneuroimmunology

In Your Own Hands chronicles Dr. Berkelhammer’s personal experiences with his past work as a practicing psychotherapist to give those struggling with chronic illness practical steps to take their health into their own hands, using the techniques of mindfulness and mastery.

Dr. Berkelhammer is now retired and spends his time writing, teaching and serving non-profit organizations that serve people with chronic medial conditions. For more information, please visit www.LarryBerkelhammer.com.

There is Work You Can Do Other Than 9 to 5 Work

    in Jobs

America is doing great financially. Decide today to claim every opportunity this land offers. Whatever issues are in your way today, there are planable, workable solutions to remove them. Whatever your interest, you can be sure there is a way to make money by getting involved daily and identifying ways to make financial gains. We all need money. We all are not seeking a 9 to 5 job to gain money. Some people just don't fit the 9 to 5 mold. But there is a way for every person who spends money to make money. A job working from home is a realistic option. What's unrealistic is thinking it isn't realistic, and doing nothing to make life better, day after day. Freelances services is work that pays. Freelance services to home based businesses and to home owners. Community Ma and Pa businesses are generally understaffed and need temporary help or even one time help. Evaluate possibilities based on your skills. Write out a plan and present your proposition to small businesses. Offer services to community franchises. Search for online work. Listen to this show and I believe you will be encouraged to change

  • Wanda's Picks Radio Show: Breakfast with Mugabe

    in Art

This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!
