U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa and U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz square off this year to fill the last two years of the six-year term of powerful political icon Daniel K. Inouye, who died in 2012.
Both are popular Democrats who have enjoyed the support of many of the same voters in the past. Most of the polls published this year describe this race as too close to call in the Aug. 9 primary election Honolulu Magazine
U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa holds an edge over U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz in the Democratic primary for Senate, a new Hawaii Poll shows, and voters who prefer the congresswoman cite her legislative experience as the main reason.

LanceScurv goes in on the recent beheading of an innocent woman here on American soil by Alton Alexander Nolen who was recently fired from his job at Vaughan's Food Plant in Oklahoma. He was stopped from his deadly rampage when he was shot by the Vaughan Food's CEO Mark Vaughanwho has been a reserve deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office since 2010.
Scurv believes that while Mr. Nolen was 100% wrong and is guilty of his crimes that are worthy of death, this isolated incident will be used to paint all Black men and women who believe in Islam as potential threats to a peaceful society and will proactively start a witch hunt for all who fit the description.
Listen in to Lance's latest rant and leave your comments on his words whether you agree with it or not.

Richard, Kelly, and Colleen debate how the Packers managed to lose to the Lions. Where is the unstoppable no huddle? Why isn't the running game effective? Should Aaron Rodgers break up with Olivia Munn and should Coach McCarthy fire himself from calling the offense?
Join two of the PocketDoppler Angels and Richard Chang as they take their show on the road and bring you a weekly dissection of the Green Bay Packers as only they know how. All three are longtime Packer fans who bring their infinite wisdom, passion and snark to the Packers Talk Radio Network.
