Thursday, October 2nd, 2014, at 6:00 - 8:00AM EST, on my Blog radio show, "Philosopher Vortex:"
"Part One: The Legal Prosecution of a Great Scientist, Dr. Wilhelm Reich, in the U.S.A."
This segment of "Philosopher Vortex" will analyze the case of Dr. Wilhelm Reich and his prosecution by the Food and Drug Administration. The Host, Steven J. Katz, is a lawyer and philosopher. He will explore the deep issues of jurisprudence and society revealed by this case, and its ongoing relevance for the legal system.
The tragedy of this case will also be analyzed from the perspective of an experienced litigator and an alternate way it could have been handled if Dr. Reich had employed a lawyer throughout the proceedings, from the initial complaint going forward. It is highly recommended that those who intend to listen and call-in to the show watch the recent film "The Strange Case of Wilhelm Reich." It is posted on youtube and can be watched without charge. Also recommended, is the excellent work "Wilhelm Reich vs. The U.S.A." by Jerome Greenfield (N.Y., W W Norton Company, 1974). See also, recent books: "In Defense of Wilhelm Reich: Opposing the 80-Years' War of Mainstream Defamatory Slander Against One of the 20th Century's Most Brilliant Physicians and Natural Scientists" by Dr. James DeMeo, PhD.(Ashland Oregon, USA, Natural Energy Works, 2013); and "Wilhelm Reich & The Cold War" by James Edward Martin (Ashland Oregon, USA, Natural Energy Works, 2014).

Ad14 viruses are passed person to person or picked up from items touched by infected people and then initially invade cells in the eye, nose, or mouth that subsequently allow further spread to other body organs.
Symptoms and signs resemble those of a cold (cough, runny nose, mild fever) for about three to five days; the majority of people clear the disease, but up to about 40% may need hospitalization with severe symptoms of pneumonia, and shortness of breath; other organ related symptoms may develop such as eye, bladder, and GI problems. We try to make a live call to CDC to find out what we can do. News Topics and Box office. & a big shout out to the Vendors in the Vendor Fair group. Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
The New York Jets need to find an identity in a hurry if they want to stop this losing streak. The offense is struggling and there were Michael Vick chants in the stadium last week. They need to reduce the number of turnovers they are committing. Our hosts Brandon Dowling and Joe Blewett will take a look at where the Jets stand right now. They will also talk about the game on Sunday vs San Diego and what the Jets must do to win.
Be sure to call in and let us know what you think. The pressure is mounting on Rex and the Jets.

Seventeen-year-old Tyler Hadley posted an invitation on Facebook: party at my crib tonight. But this was no ordinary house party in the Florida suburbs; it was a grisly crime scene. Later that night, Tyler revealed to his best friend, Michael, that he’d bludgeoned his parents to death with a hammer. Michael didn’t believe him…until he entered the master bedroom and saw the bodies of Tyler’s parents on the floor—murdered, beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Mary Jo and Blake Hadley had always known their son had a dark side. He would make disturbing jokes about murder on Facebook. He apparently idolized the infamous Menendez brothers, who murdered their parents for money. But how could they have known their son was dead serious? What kind of person could kill his mother and father, throw a party with their bodies in the next room, and brag about it? This riveting account by award-winning journalist Amber Hunt takes you deep inside the mind of a troubled teenager—and behind the scenes of a true American nightmare…SEE HOW MUCH YOU LOVE ME-A Troubled Teen, His Devoted Parents and a Cold Blooded Killing-Amber Hunt
However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are. It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man's abode; the snow melts before its door as early in the spring. I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts, as in a “sunset and evening star hunching and bending sleeping and slipping virus pneumonia coughing and crying hope in the small things heaven looks brighter aching and falling earth is still darkness slip into sleeping sleepings of death dead now and buried cold now and crumbling dust now and hope-filled heaven is hope (and loneliness lingers in those left behind)”
