Can Parkinson’s disease be prevented or even reversed? Current medical treatments have been able to ease the symptoms, but none can even come close to being called a cure. While a complete cure may not be available at this time, there is a treatment that can slow down, stop, and even reverse many of the symptoms of the disease. This new treatment doesn’t rely on drugs, surgery, or any medical treatment. It is based on diet. The key element of this diet is coconut—more specifically, coconut oil. A coconut oil based diet has proven to be highly effective in stopping and reversing a number of neurodegenerative conditions including epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Parkinson’s.
My special guest is naturopath doctor Bruce Fife, N.D, author of Stop Alzheimer's Now!: How to Prevent & Reverse Dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis & Other Neurodegenerative Disorders. Dr. Fife will explain how coconut ketones are being used to
Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes Amy E. Reichert to the studio. Her book, The Coincidence of Coconut Cake, is on my short list for romance book of the year. Here's what I found out about Amy: Amy Reichert earned her MA in Literature from Marquette University, and honed her writing and editing skills as a technical writer (which is exactly as exciting as it sounds). As a newly minted member of the local library board, she loves helping readers find new books to love. She's a life-long Wisconsin resident with (allegedly) a very noticeable accent, a patient husband, and two too-smart-for-their-own-good kids. When time allows, she loves to read, collect more cookbooks than she could possibly use, and test the limits of her DVR.
You're going to want to learn the recipe for this cake!

Fire adorns the mountain.
The highest standards
Are quietly revealed.
Success is achieved without litigation.
The mountain is still.
It is your symbol for this moment.
The mountain attempts to change nothing,
Yet its form and strength of presence
Brings awe with no effort.
This is Lana ... and I apologize for Da Coconut Wireless Show's radio silence these past two weeks. My Dad transitioned June 1st and the shock from his sudden passing took me and my entire family by surprise. Such events have a way of teaching us the hardest life lessons with undeniable certainty. My Dad's message to everyone is to reevaluate your relationships because each holds value and weight in your life. Reinforce your relationships with clear communication and understanding borne of compassion in your Now because we shall not pass this way again on this part of our Journey.
