The Bears (5-9) host the Detroit Lions (10-4) in a game that can help determine the NFC North race. The Lions are a game ahead of the Green Bay Packers, and can clinch the division today with a win and a Packer loss. The Bears close out their home portion of a very disappointing season by changing quarterbacks against one of the top rated defenses in the NFL. Jimmy Claussen will have his hands full with a Detroit front four led by the best defensive tackle in the league. Can the Bears look competative? Will the Lions keep their foot on the gas? We break it all down after the game.

The Lions begin their final road trip in Chicago against the Bears after getting back to first place in the NFC North Division. Did they clinch their first playoff berth in 3 years? I also preview the big regular-season game in Green Bay against the Packers.
Can the Wings get back on track? They open a 4-game homestand against the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Islanders, Colorado Avalanche, and Buffalo Sabres.
Can the Pistons continue their rally in the standings after winning 2 straight last weekend on the Pacific coast?
More college basketball in the mitten.
Any other Tigers offseason moves yet, especially with their bullpen?
We are on a journey toward 2015. Our 3rd day of prayer will be focus on taking control of the realm of super natural. We will be praying against Anxiety, Worry, Depression, Sadness, Unforgiveness, Anger, and taking control from evil and demonic spirits. Isaiah 43:1-3 state, "But now, this is what the Lord says, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, you God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead." Philippians 4:6-7, state, " Do no be anxious about anything, but in everything, by praye and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcentd all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
We are admonished to guard our hearts. This is vitally important in the world that we live in now. As we look around, we see all types of inputs coming at us that attempts to peck away at our foundation in God. It is the samll foxes that spoil the vine. How much of the world that we live in can we let in before it begin to chip away at our foundation? Or should our goal be to be of this world but not live according to it's dictates about what is right or wrong? How do some of us sometimes start off fighting the good fight of faith and end up shipwrecked on a backslidden island? We will discuss this and more, so join us for this word from God. .

It took Catherine (Cat) Brubaker and Dan Zimmerman 5 months and 5,300 miles to cross the USA (diagonally) on recumbent trikes. Blowouts, tumbles, and close encounters with bears and wild turkeys still left plenty of time to meet folks at the heart of our country. It also left time to get lost in one's own mind.
Cat and Dan rode to raise awareness for TBI and for Stroke, but I wonder what awareness they discovered within themsleves along their journey. And, I mean to find out. :)
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!

The Islamic State, ISIL/ISIS/Daesh - whatever people may call them - are not a flash in the pan. Not quite insurgency, not quiet terrorist organization, not quite nation state - what they are is a presence that has resilience, trans-national support, and has a long range plan.
What is their background, how have they evolved, and how do they view the world?
