I am a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and tonight, I am going to give some information about the Auxiliary, as an encouragement to our society. Everything about our society is not bad! There are good things going on every day by good people. It's just that "good news" doesn't sell! But I am going to share some good news about some wonderful people.
The Coast Guard Ethos:
I am a Coast Guardsman.
I serve the people of the United States.
I will protect them.
I will defend them.
I will save them.
I am their shield.
For them I am Semper Paratus.
I live the Coast Guard core values.
I am proud to be a Coast Guardsman.
We are the United States Coast Guard.

Boone Cutler is an author and Warfighter Rights leader that has become the first nationally recognized on-air personality who is also a Warfighter from the current war. Boone approached Fox News Radio 99.1 FM Talk with the concept of a new show that focuses on national and international events based on the Warfighter’s perspective. "Tipping Point with Boone Cutler" was born and became the weekly stage for Boone’s raw Paratrooper, no-holds-barred style, becoming a hit over the air waves and online with ‘Soccer Moms’ and his fellow Warfighters that are still deployed in combat zones worldwide. Boone’s message is simple, “America has lost faith in what they used to believe were the heroes of Hollywood, America has become disgusted with the political climate of today so the only place to turn to and trust for leadership is the Warfighter”.

Memorial Day is a time to honor those brave Heroes who did not make it home. A common theme on the show is that of the "Blank Check" signed by those who take the oath to defend the constitution and the American way of life. Sometimes the price ultimately paid for our freedoms is the life of someone who put on that uniform. The Memorial Day Special which airs a day after the holiday is set to honor these heroes. We encourage people to call in with poetry to read, stories to tell; and messages to spread. Let's make this the biggest, best episode of Freedom's hands yet!
***There will also be a special announcement that will explain the change from Monday Nights to Tuesday Nights***

Like many of you, several members of our family have served in the United States Military. We have family that have served as Firemen, Police Officers, and other emergency services. We honor all of you today with this show! We understand that the call of duty affects those that serve and their friends and family. Today is the 147th year our nation has honored those that gave the ultimate sacrifice of laying down their life in service to another! Here at your place, we have given honor by sharing stories of our brave men and women who have recieved the highest honors for service above and beyond the call of duty. We shared with you a two part story with my son and his wife on his service in Iraq. My son returned from Iraq with PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Tramatic Brain Injury). They were very open with how this effected them. I remember the nights we had soldiers call from Iraq letting us know they enjoyed this show! I remember the fear in one man's voice as he asked us to pray for his unit. We hope to honor them tonight with this show. The last thing we want is to stir up your emotions and then you do not feel a call to personally honor these brave men and women. Pease remember to take time today to pray for the families and friends of our brave fallen men and women. Then in your own way, show thanks for their service. We are shairing a program with you that is helping our wounded vets. It's called "The Wounded Warrior Project". http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ You can go to their web site to find what they do. For less than most of us pay for a good meal you can provide monthly support for this program that aids your returning injured warriors. Is your grattitude worth less then $20 a month? Please, check out this great program!

On the note of freedom not being free, one may wonder what truly is paid for the freedoms we as Americans enjoy. Some popular answers may be an arm, leg, time and in the worst of cases; the life of a United States Service member. Regardless of the branch they served in or the era, in which they served, freedom is only as strong as those willing to protect it. Brave men and women are willing to defend freedom, while fighting to secure it. These heroes serve as the hands of freedom, for without them freedom would not exist.
Tonight on Freedom's Hands, Richard K. P. Morrison will be talking to a representative from the Sussex Technical High School Concert Choir. Tomorrow, 5/19/15 the choir will be holding a concert with proceeds going to a project that builds homes for veterans who were wounded defending this great country.
