MSNBC host Chris Matthews called Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) a "political terrorist" on Wednesday night's edition of "Hardball."
"I will say he's a terrorist because what the guy has done basically says my goal is demolition -- blow up health care, blow up the continuing resolution, bring the government to a standstill and then make us forfeit on the national debt," Matthews said.
I say, If Muslim extremists were threatening to bring down the American economy because they do not like whom the American people choose as their President, Anchor Baby Cruz would be the first calling for all out war! Cruz, Paul, and Lee are traitors and should be treated as such!!!
"You tell me how that's not what he was trying to do here. Bring the government to default so it's not paying its bills. Stop the government from functioning and bring down bills that have created institutions like Obamacare that have already been decided upon -- blow them up after they were brought into law. Blow up the government's ability to pay bills it has already run up," Matthews continued. "If that's not causing chaos, what is it?"
WASHINGTON — Nineteen American diplomatic outposts across the Middle East and North Africa will remain closed this week, the State Department said Sunday, despite what officials said was no new information about terrorist plots that they believe are in the works. New York Times
From Banker to work for dad's import-export business on Long Island in the lawn & garden and hardware industry for about a year or so and then became the National Sales Manager for a British company just getting started in the North American market that was in the DIY hardware industry. Did that for about 4 years and then attempted to help a German horticultural company get established in the US market with a peat bog they started in New Brunswick, Canada. Did that for a couple of years and then decided to become a manufacturer's rep in the same industries. Built a rep organization, one of the first to sell and service The Home Depots and other big box stores covering Maine down to Virginia. By the time i left in 1999, we had 100 service reps on the road covering all the Home Depots from Maine to Virginia with just over 40 different product lines in each store. Burnt out, got a divorce and decided to change careers. Joined Weichert Realtors for a few years originally to be a sales agent, but quickly became the go to for designing the presentations for the agents to get customers, both for sale and to purchase. Left that to buy Creative Desktop in Brookfield, CT; a graphic design company and worked that up to about 4 years ago, changing the name to Creative Group LLC and converting it into a music promotion business. As a self taught graphic designer and picking up a keyboard in 1999 to start to write and compose my own music, found my true passion was music. Never looked back. Actually wrote my vows into a song when i remarried in 2006 which was our first dance. Decided to pay it forward and fill a void in the music industry that was missing in supporting the independent music artists and started TBAIMS in January of 2013 holding the first seven monthly showcases at the Gibson Guitar Studios on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan. Have since moved it to Toshi's Living Room.

The late, great comic George Carlin did a 3-min./12-sec. comedy skit a few years back.
It basically encapsulated the entire thrust of what the Occupy Wall Street movement was all about.
Only a handful of people actually have a say in the affairs of our country and that is because they own literally everything ---> land, buildings, corporations, banks AND most importantly, the AIR WAVES!
They therefore OWN all of the rest of us. They have us by the BALLS!
They tell us what to think, how to react, what to focus on or not.
The 1% know full well that, for the most part, MOST of us will do as we're told and not bother thinking about any BIG PICTURE. They know full well that, for the most part, we are too bogged down with our own respective daily dramas - like survival - and that we will never mount any real concerted threat directed at their monopoly of power.
We, in effect, play the part of the victim all too well. We allow the mighty plutocratic machine to ram us up the arse continuously and relentlessly with the Red, White & Blue Shaft. And, we don't really work up much of a lather to offer up a real objection or complaint. We can only muster up a tinny whine and just continue to muddle along.
Having lost so many hard fought rights and privileges over the last 30-35 years the Plutocrats are now going after our Social Security & Carlin suggests that they will get that as well.
He closes his skit with a complete refutation of the so-called AMERICAN DREAM. He intones: "It's A Dream, Because You Have To Be ASLEEP TO BELIEVE IT!
