Do you have any idea what’s going on in the educational system across the country, specifically in the classroom? Whose teaching our children? No child is alike! Therefore, special attention must be directed to help elevate them to their highest potential. Believe it or not cultural competence plays a part in the process. A lot of emphasis is placed on testing and the national averages for fourth, eighth and twelfth grade students. But do you know what it means or how it translates to success or failure in life. Tonight we have Dr. Andrea Walbrook, an educational community advocate in the area of special education speak to what we can do for our children.

The kitchen can be one of the most troublesome areas to get and keep organized in the home. It's often the center of life and the most used room in the whole house. In the kitchen you may: prepare food, eat, process paperwork, store various items, have family meetings, get the kids ready for school... Let's face it, it might be where the kids dump all their stuff when they come in the house, and it's could even be the most frustrating place in the whole house to be.
In this episode of Reclaiming Space, Tracy interviews Angela Arganoff, the Unclutter Angel, who gives us the nitty gritty when it comes to the kitchen and how you can reclaim that space in your home.
Angela has always been interested in organizing in some form or another. She can remember as a child organizing her toys and helping organize in the classroom. She loved the satisfaction of coordinating and organizing, which continued into high school, college and beyond.
Being a mother and business owner, Angela understands the how important it is to be organized in the home, especially when it comes to the kitchen and meal preparation. Our lives can be busy between working and family activities. Having solutions that are easy, economical and healthy, can make the heart of the home, the kitchen, a wonderful place to be. Melbourne James aka Jah Stitch has been deejaying and selecting sound system from the early days of ska music and has help to popularize deejaying to the present state it is in as well as manipulating the turn table. Jah Stitch got his introduction to the turn table as he was identify by a young Bunny “Striker Lee” of someone who has exceptional talent and was encouraged to get involved in the music business as opposed to the group that he was a member of the Spangler.
One of the most notorious posses in Jamaica around that time was the Spanglers based on Matches Lane also known as Matthews Lane in West Kingston. The gang was known for their dress style as well as their toughness. It was this discipline and focus that Jah Stitch used to forge a working relationship into the business and establishes himself as a no nonsense stickler for Jamaican music. He has the distinction of recording on every track put out by Bunny Lee and is one of the persons who has an intimate knowledge of how reggae music was formed as he was in studio for the first recording of reggae music He was and is a friend and a fan of Bob Marley..
There are no self help programs to heaven, you learn from from somebody, books,TV radio and so on. Many people today join programs, clubs hire personal trainer because they realize that their lack of discipline is holding them back from accomplining their goal in life. The church is that structor that will never change.Because God build the church thur Jesus Christ to help his people to grow out of their fears and longlyiness and not alone any more.
