    The Grand Scheme of Things~

THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY meets
"Stranger Than Fiction," in which two humans are accidentally sent to another universe and land in the middle of a story that is being written by a supreme being who has just come out of one of history's longest bouts of writer's block.

The author, Bill Friday, decides that his novel will play out on a giant ball of dirt that he calls The Earth, which, in his language means ‘profit making business venture.’ The presence of the two humans on the barren planet, however, has dramatic and historic consequences for The Earth, and
their existence threatens to ruin, not only the entire plot, but possibly Bill's career as well.

“Clever, insightful, and delightfully deranged, THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS takes our universe and imposes gravity upon it, so it can be turned upside down. It is an enjoyable story about someone who is unfit to be creating life—a cool comeback comedy that competently combines cosmological conjecture, courageous career courses, and coping with creative commons conflicts.”

How to Dispute a Charge-off on Your Credit Report

    in Motivation

In today's episode Cliffunya & Kisha will discuss what a credit charge -off is and how to dispute any inaccuracy on your credit report.

What is a Credit Charge-off?  After a certian amount of time of non-payment creditors will write off an account balance.

Charge-off is difficult to remove but there are ways to dispute a charge-off which may result in it being removed from your credit report .

Unpaid charge-off can also lead to legal action (as long as the debt is within the statue of limitations).

If the statue of limitations has ran out a debtor can no longer be sued and the debt becomes uncollectable.

Account balance.  Has the account been transferred or sold to a collection agency?  If yes, the account balnce should show zero.

The original creditor who has sold or transferred cannot continue to report a balance owed.

Dispute the balance and ask for deletion.

Always ask for a deletion of the entire account because corrected negative informaiton doesn't improve your credit score.  Keep in mind the creidt bureaus are not required to delete incorrect informaiton only to correct it.

    Areas that can be disputed:

    Open Date of Account

    Highest  Balance

    Late Payments

    Account Status

*Remember charge-off 48 months or older are no longer being used to calcuate your credit score.

Use caution when disputing charge-off you run the risk of lowering your credit score if the dispute returns verified as correct .

Not "Overtrying": Science meets ancient Chinese Strategy, Dr. Edward Slingerland

    in Psychology

Amy Alkon HumanLab -- The Science Between Us, a weekly show with the luminaries of behavioral science.

*"Best Of" replay. On tonight’s show, science gets together with ancient Chinese philosophy, and it likes what it finds.

Dr. Edward Slingerland, an internationally renowned Chinese philosophy expert, draws on both cutting-edge science and ancient Chinese strategies to show how our modern Western approach of striving our guts out doesn’t seem to lead to success or happiness.

In fact, he observes, it seems that getting practiced enough in something that it comes naturally is the way to avoid forcing things in the moment (which is actually counterproductive to succeeding).

Dr. Slingerland will talk about this, how achieving that sort of effortlessness is the way to personal charisma, and much more on tonight’s show. His book he’ll be discussing is “Trying Not To Try: The Art And Science of Spontaneity.” Join us and see how we can better our work, relationships, and lives -- if we can just get out of our own way.

Fighting for Freedom in America: Memoir of a "Schizophrenia" and Mainstream Cultural Delusions~

When anonymous mental health worker Clyde Dee finds himself working in a Section 8 housing project that is notorious for drug dealing, he mysteriously is compelled to break the codes of standard drug war conduct. Uncanny threats and coincidences and desire for justice drive him to question the pillars of his profession and his own wellness until he decides to go off a low dose of anti-psychotic medication. Stopped by police in an effort to exit the country, Clyde is incarcerated in a State Hospital psychiatric ward for three months and released to the streets.
Unlike other success prototypes such as John Nash or Evelyn Saks, Clyde's story reveals both the innards of Schizophrenia and how a person can learn to make peace with the forces that are following them around. Clyde is able to overcome homelessness, underemployment, and harassment with family support and morph into someone who is fighting to gain attention for his successes in treating others who are in the throes of a "psychotic" episode.

Shuttle disaster - Millennials NOT for Hillary? - GOP debate!

    in Politics

Hr1    Remembering 30 years ago... the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster and a great Uniter in Chief, Ronald Reagan. American values.

MSNBC host Chris Matthews worries that college-aged coeds who should be Hillary voters just, well, they just don't "get it." Because women should vote for a candidate JUST because she's a woman?

Woman addressing Europe's rape and immigrant/migrant problem tagged as racist.

Hr2   "It's racist to blame the refugees"... even if they're the ones committing the rapes? Political correctness run amok!

ORU mandatory fitness with FitBit monitoring. Big Brother or individual choice?

Illegals hold signs "undocumented & unafraid" and "f*ck your borders, f*ck your walls" protesting Border Patrol recruiters at jobs fair on campus. Students say the BP presence made them feel "unsafe." Law enforcement is there to KEEP you safe... as long as you're following the law. And therein lies the problem!

Hr3  Trans-species says she was born a cat. Her boyfriend has a personality that is a cat... yes, she actually says he has "someone in his head that is a cat"!!!! You can be anything you want to be. Everything is an option now... and mental illness is only applicable to gun violence.

USA Radio News Senior Correspondent, Jason Wert updates us on the latest GOP debate WITHOUT Donald Trump.

And where is Bill Clinton hiding? He's laying low trying to keep younger women from raising questions about Hillary's "stand by her man" stance. Millennial women are not as forgiving as Hillary apparently was... and they certainly don't understand her aiding and abetting the coverup, blame game!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
