This episode's theme is on one of my favorite book series - The Mortal Instruments. I will be reviewing the cast selection, translation from book to movie plot points, and the overall future of the series (if there can even be any).
I love the fantasy fiction that is out there these days, but it does not always get its fair shake in the move to movies. This review will help people understand the themes involved, and hopefully peak the interest in those who may have been on the fence about seeing it.

What Ezekiel saw in the spirit, God equated to the natural so we will look at what that means for women in ministry. Ezekiel chapter 37 shows us a picture of what can happen when a people lose touch with their God. He saw a huge valley of dead men's bones, dry and parched and most likely bleached by the sun. There was no life in them and it all seemed so hopeless. But God gave Ezekiel a divine strategy for restoration and reparation. This same strategy will work for us today. Join us on Waves of Gloy at 10:00 am, eastern as we march towards the Women's Leadership Empowerment Summit.

“God closes a door and then opens a window,” people sometimes say when dealing with their own disappointment or someone else’s. That was certainly true in Marguerite’s case. Children from European as well as Native American backgrounds in seventeenth-century Canada benefited from her great zeal and unshakable trust in God’s providence.
Marguerite at the age of 20 believed that she was called to religious life. Her applications to the Carmelites and Poor Clares were unsuccessful.
In 1654, the governor of the French settlement in Canada invited her to come to Canada and start a school in Ville-Marie.
Soon after starting a school, she realized her need for coworkers. Returning to Troyes, she recruited a friend, Catherine Crolo, and two other young women. In 1667 they added classes at their school for Indian children. A second trip to France three years later resulted in six more young women and a letter from King Louis XIV, authorizing the school.
Marguerite established a school for Indian girls in Montreal. At the age of 69, she walked from Montreal to Quebec in response to the bishop’s request to establish a community of her sisters in that city. By the time she died, she was referred to as the “Mother of the Colony.” Marguerite was canonized in 1982.
