Bards Logic welcomes Althea Shaw. We will discuss her family's tragic story stemming from our porous borders with a government and justice system that doesn't seem to care.
Althea is currently working with her family on legislation that would deport illegal alien gangs out of the City of Los Angeles. This law is named, "Jamielslaw", in memory of her nephew, Jamiel Shaw II.
Jamiel was 17 years young when he was executed by an illegal alien gangbanger. The killer was negligenlty released from jail on March 1, 2008 and he executed Jamiel on March 2, 2008. He was given the death penalty in November, 2012 and he is currently on death row.
Althea worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LACSD), for 8 years as a civilian employee. She left the LACSD in 1989 and began working as a civilian employee for the City of Los Angeles, (LAPD) in 1990. She resigned after 14 years.
In addition to working on JamielsLaw, Althea is an advocate for justice in her neighborhood. She attends various community meetings and is very out spoken against illegal immigration.
