It is Time for U.S. Term LImits - Citizen Legislators NOT Career Politicians!
Guest: Nick Tomboulides, Executive Director of U.S. Term Limits since 2013, overseeing its national grassroots activism efforts in support of a constitutional amendment to term limit the U.S. Congress. Nick also serves as Editor of the Term Limits National Blog at TermLimits.Org.
U.S. Term Limits has been fighting for term limits at all levels of government since 1992. U.S. Term Limits played a key role in enacting term limits by ballot initiative on 15 state legislatures and 23 congressional delegations, the latter being thrown out by a 1995 Supreme Court decision. Today, USTL’s main focus is on enacting a constitutional amendment to term limit the entire U.S. Congress to no more than three House terms and two Senate terms.

Thomas Jefferson wanted Term Limits
"General Washington set the example of voluntary retirement after eight years. I shall follow it, and a few more precedents will oppose the obstacle of habit to anyone after a while who shall endeavor to extend his term. Perhaps it may beget a disposition to establish it by an amendment of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson to J. Taylor, 1805.
"I apprehend that the total abandonment of the principle of rotation in the offices of President and Senator will end in abuse." --Thomas Jefferson to E. Rutledge, 1788.
"If the principle of rotation be a sound one, as I conscientiously believe it to be with respect to this office, no pretext should ever be permitted to dispense with it, because there never will be a time when real difficulties will not exist and furnish a plausible pretext for dispensation." --Thomas Jefferson to H. Guest, 1809.

We live in the age of the walking dead, the airhead, the lame brain, the completely clueless citizen bowing to this massive machine of madness and totally immersed and drowning in this seaminly harmless technology of the day. Rats in a maze completely consumed with consumption. We fight for space and place on this massive orb. It is time for revolution. It is time for the massive awakening. It is time for all good men to come to the aid of their countrymen. We will be discussing this and much more on the air tonight. Come and take a seat on this wild and twisted roller coaster we call life.
THE SHOW has a rocky start! PLEASE listen in about 6 and a half minutes in. Thank you!

General Colin Powell is a man who has climbed from the bottom. In his speech he said:
“Find that which you love doing and that which you do well. When you put those two together, you have put into place the roadmap for a successful and satisfying life.”
“We complain a lot today about politics and politicians and often for good reason. But we can’t sit around waiting for superman or superwoman to come in 2014 or 2016. We the people are the supermen and the superwomen. We are the deciders.”
“As you go through life, listen to the other side. Have your eyes and your ears and your heart open to counterviews so we can get back what makes this country great in the political sense – the ability to compromise with each other and not just freeze ourselves on a spectrum of political desire from the right or from the left.”
“Make sure you share the talent and the time and the treasure you have with others who are in greater need than you.”
“If you want to save the world, start by saving just one kid. That’s what it’s all about.”
“As you move on into life, do what you can to reach down, back and across to help a young person stay in school, to help a young person believe, to help a young person to a brighter future.”
“Don’t stand on the sidelines complaining and moaning; speak out and vote. If you’re going to be a responsible citizen in this country, get qualified and make sure that you get registered and vote every single chance you get.”
Does drama elect candidates who can serve the country? State and Local Governments? Will money choose elected officials? Or will each citizen vote their concious? The apparent levels of frustration experience due to more attentions paid to Wall Street and their Lobbyist has meant the average citizen for decades has been forgotten.
Will Koch Brother money, Trump Celebrity driven campaign, Hillary Clinton becoming first women President, or Bernie Sanders speaking out for the common person make it to the electorial finish line?
Have any candidates running for the Presidency address issue important to you? Where do they stand on Insured Civil Rights Legislation? Will they support a Bill which protect Insurance Policyholders? Or will they stand silent as Wall Street continues to delay and deny benefits to Insured who've paid premiums to these corporations?
Join ESTRA today in a discussion on why candidates spend more time on issues of Wall Street than those of Main Street.
Join us tonight at 5 p.m. Central Standard Time, as we once again bring Niell Shelton of Mayberry R.F.D. for part 2 of his horrific CPS story. Corruption abounds in this Rockwell-style everyday American small town, and Niel, a loving, doting, homeless father, refuses to leave his home for fear of never seeing his children again. Listen in, hold back your fury, and open your minds as we continue to wake up America to the injustices done this model citizen!
